As a Vietnamese who was born in Europe, she’s a great teacher to teach Vietnamese to those who don’t speak the language well. She provides you PowerPoint slides after each class, and voice recordings! You can understand her English, and if you have a question then she’ll answer them and even type the Vietnamese words correctly in the chat box of the teams meeting so you can note them down. Also, she gives you both the northern and southern dialect when explaining pronunciation for example. She knows which accent you grew up with, and she will teach you those words in your dialect first. Modern native Vietnamese vocabulary is a bit different than Vietnamese vocabulary from the immigrant Vietnamese parents. But she’ll guide you through it. Her hours are flexible, she can even teach until 2AM Vietnamese time lol.
