It uses lots of fun exercises and nice educational materials from Japan in addition to the Internationally recognized standard books. (Don't worry, you don't have to understand Japanese!) You learn not only how to play piano but also how music works- music theory. I know what my students are good at and not so good at right off the bat. That's why I can tailor the lesson plans to their goals and needs. Also, if you like to take an ABRSM exam, the syllables will be tailored accordingly. So what will be tested on the day of the exam is integrated into the lessons and my class/lesson offers all-round preparation for the exam. I have helped my students pass G1, 3, 5 and 6 with a good score. Another important aspect of my lesson is to focus on improving cognitive skills - increasing memory, right-hand-left-hand-coordination, sustained attention, nonverbal communication, and a feeling of independence and freedom. Marcos was an exceptional tutor preparing me for the entrance exam of the bachelor's degree of aerospace engineering at TU Delft. Marcos was very flexible and teached me the necessary techniques not only to succed in the entrance exam, but also to understand and delve further in the engineering world. His passion for the subject did indeed made the classes very nice and interesting. Overall, Marcos prepared me very well, with theory, exercises and insights of how it is to be an aerospace engineering student.

I contacted Caroline just 2 weeks before my ITNA-test appointment. I booked 20 hours (mostly in chunks of 120min) and she was wonderful and very patient (I tend to ask a lot of questions)! I fully believe these 2 weeks of intensive lessons were pivotal in passing the test (she has a lot of material). Not only that, but now I really just feel more comfortable using more complex sentence structures in my day-to-day. Caroline was a perfect fit for me and I would highly recommend giving her a try!

Carlos is an amazing teacher! I have learned more studying with him in a few months then I have learned in a year with other teachers. He is patient, knowledgeable and organized. We have good conversations and he really knows how to activate the language and give confidence to his students. For more basic students like myself it's very useful that he can speak other languages so well, although we use mostly Spanish in our lessons. He is simply the best! I highly recommend Carlos as a teacher!
