My name is Clara and I'm a classically-trained pianist and a piano teacher. I offer piano lessons in English or Spanish for Children and Adults (from 4-70 years old).
My personal mission is to keep you motivated and committed to playing the piano. With this purpose, I use a method adapted to each student, taking into account what you want to achieve and what you like. In my classes, you will learn music comprehensively. My personalized lessons do not only focus on repertoire, but also on music theory, sight-reading, ear training, improvisation, and composition.
You will be able to express yourself through playing several styles of music, creating performances full of artistry and musicality, and also to create their own music. You will also learn music history through extra group appreciation lessons and play four hand duets with other students or me. You will learn while having fun and will become a well-rounded and knowledgeable musician.
You will:
-Play and read songs from different styles quickly, working at the same time on piano technique, sight-reading, and musicality, and enhancing your talents. Do you want to play the songs that you like? Do you want to play for your family and friends? The goal is for you to enjoy playing the piano and to be able to play the pieces you like soon!
-Lose your fear of music theory by studying it applied to the pieces that you learn.
-Write your own songs, improvise and train your musical ear.
-Learn several styles of music, starting from a classical approach and taking into account your preferences.
-Play four hands duets with me, other students, or a family member.
-Learn with a wide variety of materials and games, which will make you remember and reinforce musical concepts and enhance your learning in a fun way.
-Know how to practice correctly, creating an effective routine that makes you feel excited and motivated at home.
-Get constant feedback during the week.
-Gain confidence in yourself thanks to your successes.
-Celebrate and share your successes, feeling part of a supportive community.
-Learn music history through the piano lessons and supplementary group lessons, where you are provided with lots of materials that work on composers' lives and works, listening guides, and many other interesting topics.
-Benefit from the better academic results, the memory improvement, or increased self-esteem that learning an instrument provides.
-Prepare for tests.

My name is Clara and I'm a classically-trained pianist and a piano teacher. I fully dedicate myself to my mission: to play the piano and transmit my passion for the piano through teaching. Nothing makes me happier than being able to give students a lifetime of music-making through the piano.
They say, “all you need to learn piano is talent and motivation”, but I believe there’s more to it than that:
-I believe strong foundations create great pianists. Through my classes, I aim to give my students the techniques they need to practice correctly and create performances with plenty of musicality, confidence, and passion.
-I believe commitment, discipline, and effort are the clues: motivation and talent are not enough. That's why I'm my students' coach during their learning process.
-I believe in the powerful tool that the piano is for self-expression, communication, and mental well-being. The piano is more than just a beautiful instrument: it is a way of life.
-I believe in the importance of sharing your passion and your successes, and setting goals that make you feel focused and keep track of your progress.
So I have one mission... making music part of your life!

Education
I did a Bachelor of Music in Spain and completed a Master in Musical performance and research. I also obtained an Artist Diploma. In parallel to completing my piano formation in several piano masterclasses and piano courses, I have focused my work on performing as a soloist and as a member of several chamber music formations and teaching students from different ages and levels.

I have a broad experience in teaching in English and Spanish in music conservatories and music schools. I work with students between 4 and 70 years old.
