Hello! Expect an always challenging approach, exciting and inspiring! I am an open-minded teacher with international and wide experience and repertoire. As performer I have recorded 10 CDs with international labels (such as Brilliant, Stradivarius and Sheva), played in many concerts in all Europe as soloist and chamber musician. As a composer I have also written the soundtrack for films and multimedia works. I am interested in the Historical Performance Practice and at my place you can find three ancient instruments, from 19th Century.

I am singer, classically trained with a main focus in early music and voice embodiment. I also studied recorder, clarinet and musicology.

As a teacher and performer, I focus on a joyful, healthy and technically skilled way of singing. I focus not only on the sound production, but also on body posture, relaxation and organic movement. An happy and relaxed body creates a beautiful, natural and relaxed sound.
We choose the repertoire together and work together towards developing your voice, your expressivity, text and style interpretation at your fullest potential.

I have experience teaching several music genres, from classical, jazz, pop, folk music and even extended vocal techniques like growls. I am quite open to the students requests and always willing to research deeper and expand my vocal vocabulary.

Singing is a vulnerable, intimate and also communal act. Sadly, our modern world has mystified it into the sphere of the "born-talent" ideal, which often scares people from even trying to sing. I find this phenomena a cruel and exclusivist perspective on singing.

I consider singing an universal right, and we should all be unashamed of singing, be it in your bathtub, while walking on the street, in a dinner with friends, or in the next open stage at your local bar.

We all have the capacity and the right to sing.
If anybody has told you that you can't sing, they were wrong. Like any skill, you can learn it.
And if you sing, you, your body, and your soul will be happier.

One of my students once said: "You come for a singing lesson and you discover something new about who you are". I think that would summarize well the space I try to create in my lessons.

My primary focus is on creating a personal connection and approach to the chosen instruments and to music in general. This includes (depending on your wishes, of course) your own musical expression, improvisation, songwriting (with lyrics if desired), song accompaniment and improvisation, as well as music theory and instrument-specific references.

Stylistically, the focus is on blues, rock, folk pop and world music, with strong references and influences from classical music, hip hop, electronic music and jazz.

Course for beginners and advanced students

My course focuses on the personal realtion between the individual, the chosen instruments and the music itself. This includes musical expression, improvisation, songwriting, songwriting, interpretation as well as music theory and specific aspects of the instrument.

My musical background lies between blues, folk, rock, pop and world music with influences from classical, as well as electronic music, hip hop and jazz.
