I used to support younger pupils during my last years in school, helping non natives to improve their German, focusing on the grammar and correct spelling. I did not teach professionally yet, however my theoretical knowledge is growing every day. Since my sister is a professional German teacher for foreign students, we constantly share and discuss new teaching ideas and concepts. In my lessons, I want to try to find the right way of reaching each student since everyone has a different way to learn, to remember. Depending on how much previous experience he or she has, I will adapt the lesson/s. The students will get various challenges throughout the class, including exercises and homework for writing, reading and listening comprehensions. I believe, that everyone who is passionate enough about a language and sees the individual talent and interest of a person, can be a good teacher. That's why I would like to extend my practical experience of teaching one of my native languages while offering affordable lessons for fellow language lovers.

Learning a foreign language is not a linear process that consists of memorising a list of words, and speaking a foreign language is not an oral translation exercise.

There are two types of approaches to acquiring knowledge:

When asked what year follows 1999, you can immediately answer 2000 without having to think for a long time and, above all, without having memorised each number individually, starting with 1, 2, 3 ... You know that numbers are formed according to a certain pattern. With only ten digits, you can form an infinite number of numbers and always know which number comes next.

When it comes to the alphabet, words and sentences, it's more or less the same, but school pedagogy, school textbooks and regular lessons still follow the rote learning approach. In the lessons I propose, you will learn to use patterns because this is more efficient and faster.
