Graduated from a Bac +3 in Art History and a Bac + 3 in History, I want to share my knowledge and my enthusiasm for art history. I offer dynamic lessons adapted to each student to arouse their interest, ensure their learning and success in the subject. As with any art historian, the key is to start from images and other types of artistic productions to see all that they tell us (and all that they sometimes hide from us!)

Graduated with a CUM LAUDE distinction and great Honours from a master's program in Global Archaeology at Leiden University, where I achieved an 8.6/10 for my thesis on "Human Brain Evolution." This research develops a theory combining archaeology, biology and neurology, and reveals how ancient populations' brain development are influenced by environmental factors and material objects. My educational background includes a Pre-master program in Archaeology at Leiden University, graduated with an 8.2/10, and a Bachelor's degree in History of Art and Archaeology, graduated with Honours. These programs have equipped me with strong analytical, synthesizing, and research skills. I am actively seeking a position in archaeology, heritage management, museums, or other cultural institutions that will allow me to consolidate and further develop my research and synthesis skills. Combining my rigorous academic training with diverse hands-on experiences, I bring a well-rounded skill set and a passion for uncovering, understanding and sharing the knowledge of the past. Beyond academia, I excel in teamwork, adaptability, and multitasking, gained through leading group projects and managing extracurricular activities. Fluent in French and English (C1), with a working knowledge of Spanish, I find joy in tutoring students in various subjects. Additionally, I possess organizational skills from managing Phorin, an artist's platform.

The class is meant for those who wish to enter the world of performance art - an experimental art form that originated in the 1960s in the United States. My intention with the lessons is to teach a student how to begin an independent artistic practice as a performance artist through practical exercises, readings, and analysis of performances (on photos, video and in events we would visit together). The basic theory and history of performance art are introduced so the student can get oriented in the respective art context. If desired, the class can go deeper in theory with the readings from the related field of Performance Studies. While performance ART is an artistic field, performance STUDIES is wider academic discipline working with the notion of performance not only in art but also in the sports, rituals, play, every day, sex, technology, business and elsewhere. I base the class on my years-long artistic, theoretical and curatorial practices and on my education in the field (BA in Site-Specific Performance, ongoing MA in Live Art and Performance Studies, BA in General Art Studies).

History is vast and complex, which is why I suggest you approach history through the prism of the Arts. From music to architecture, it is always easier to understand historical facts by understanding what surrounds them and motivates them. I therefore propose to you methods for linking and learning history in its plural entirety.
