It’s perfect if you want more than a one-time experience — and want to grow real skills over time. Most short workshops focus on just one thing — plant, portrait or landscape. But real artists learn to see and understand the principles. So that you can find your own way to create. In my workshops, we go deeper and learn the grammer of visual art: exploring value, color theory, composition and creativity through many styles. This research develops a theory combining archaeology, biology and neurology, and reveals how ancient populations' brain development are influenced by environmental factors and material objects. My educational background includes a Pre-master program in Archaeology at Leiden University, graduated with an 8.2/10, and a Bachelor's degree in History of Art and Archaeology, graduated with Honours. These programs have equipped me with strong analytical, synthesizing, and research skills. I am actively seeking a position in archaeology, heritage management, museums, or other cultural institutions that will allow me to consolidate and further develop my research and synthesis skills. Trusted teacher: Undergo with your love, muse, partner, or all of these at once, a romantic course of painting a nude. One of you will give up their clothes for a morning, afternoon or evening, whilst the other paints them in the style of a famous nude portrait of their choice, (like Venus of Urbino - 1585 by Titian). Hosted by Artists and art historians Tonny and Janne Igbuwe. They will take you on a sensory journey through history, intimacy and artistry. You'll be invited into the Artist's studio (decorated like the chosen painting to the best of our ability) where you'll be received with a drink and a small appetizer. During the workshop, you will not only learn about painting techniques and portraiture, but we'll also explain the history behind the painting you'll be recreating. A spectacularly romantic experience to never forget. Location: Jan Zijvertstraat, Geuzenveld, Amsterdam. If the answer is yes, I am here to teach you and take you on a trip to past historical periods, learning the keys of each culture, and enjoying learning about ancient empires, wars, society and the diversity of people that shaped the world in which we live today. I am Rubén, a recent PhD in Archaeology by the University of Leicester with extensive experience teaching in academia for the last 6 years. I have also taught Spanish to foreign students at from primary and secondary levels and higher education. I have taught American and UK students over the last seven years, whilst pursuing my studies in Spain and in the United Kingdom. I was recently awarded my PhD, through which I developed methodological aspects of teaching different types of public from different backgrounds. My experience to communicate to different types of audiences have been enhanced through my work as a contributing writer for the National Geographic History Magazine. In these classes you will be able to learn, depending on your choices...: - To recognise the main artworks of the Art world History. - To wander through the art of the Ancient World. - To identify the key aspects of historical periods. - To identify the main artworks and understand the sociocultural contexts of production. - To carry out iconographical analysis of specific artworks. - The Archaeology of Greece and Rome.
