Trusted teacher: As a dedicated tutor with extensive experience in preparing students for standardized exams such as the SAT, GMAT, and SSAT, I understand the unique challenges that each of these tests presents. My approach is comprehensive and focuses on building a strong foundation in critical areas such as Mathematics, Quantitative Reasoning, Verbal Skills, and Analytical Writing. Each program I develop is tailored to the specific requirements of the exam, ensuring that students are well-prepared and confident on test day. Having a deep understanding of the test formats and question types allows me to provide personalized strategies that target each student's individual strengths and weaknesses. I believe that every student has a unique learning style, and my goal is to enhance their test-taking skills while improving their time management. By fostering a supportive learning environment, I aim to boost students' confidence and empower them to achieve top scores. My tutoring sessions incorporate a variety of effective methods, including real exam questions and timed practice tests. This hands-on approach allows students to familiarize themselves with the types of questions they will encounter, making the actual exam feel less daunting. I teach proven techniques for tackling even the most challenging problems, ensuring that students feel equipped to handle any question that comes their way. One of the key components of my tutoring is helping students develop effective study habits. I provide guidance on creating a structured study plan that maximizes their preparation time and aligns with their personal goals. This structured approach not only keeps students on track but also helps them build a sense of accountability, which is crucial for success. In addition to academic preparation, I also focus on the psychological aspects of test-taking. Many students experience anxiety leading up to exams, which can affect their performance. I teach relaxation techniques and mental strategies to help manage stress, allowing students to approach their exams with a calm and focused mindset. By addressing both the academic and emotional challenges of test preparation, I equip students with a well-rounded toolkit for success. Feedback is an essential part of the learning process, and I make it a priority to provide constructive and actionable insights during our sessions. After each practice test, I conduct a thorough review of the results, highlighting areas for improvement while also acknowledging progress. This continuous feedback loop helps students understand their growth and keeps them motivated throughout their preparation. My commitment to student success goes beyond just teaching content. I aim to inspire a love for learning and self-improvement in each of my students. Many of my former students have gone on to achieve their academic goals, securing places at prestigious universities and programs. Their success stories are a testament to the effectiveness of my tailored approach and the dedication I bring to each tutoring session. [Courses available at 50% of the listed price, if at your home, via CESU (tax reduction)] Hello, My name is Beryl and I am a primary school teacher, retraining to become a speech therapist. After a scientific baccalaureate, I completed a degree in mathematics and computer science before becoming a primary school teacher. During my current studies to become a speech therapist, I miss teaching: I would be delighted to help you progress in math (or in science: physics, chemistry, life and earth sciences), whether globally or by helping you overcome a specific challenge. My courses are suitable for students of all ages and academic levels: - From CP to CM2 (Extensive mastery of concepts, curricula, possible approaches, and potential difficulties, thanks to my profession) - Middle and high school, general or vocational (Mastery of concepts + ability to navigate the curricula... moreover, teaching methods and a caring approach are easily generalizable from primary to other levels! I also have the opportunity to help students of these ages progress in leisure activities in which I volunteer) - Students: * Non-core math subjects (biology degree, speech therapy, and need for help with statistics...) * "Main" maths: linear algebra, analysis, logic, geometry in space... to be discussed depending on the specific concept that is causing you trouble, I will then tell you honestly whether I am able to help you or not! I still love math and teaching, and I have an excellent foundation thanks to my degree in mathematics and computer science. My teaching experience, even though it was at the primary level, allows me to teach at all levels because the teaching skills I acquired are generalizable. I adapt to your needs: homework help, help with exercises, explanations of difficult concepts, all kinds of exercises at your school level... I can assist you on an occasional or more regular basis. I don't really have a fixed session structure because I adapt to each student. However, I always start with your request, so you'll begin the lesson. Throughout the lesson, I'll build on what you bring to the table and what you find challenging (or not). I have many tools in my teacher's bag (explanations, different angles of approach, links with real life, materials and ideas for manipulation, mnemonic devices, ease in creating tailor-made systematic exercises, ability to use AI to best adapt the exercises, textbooks of various levels... and above all my ability to adapt to your request!). I don't hesitate to think outside the box, to move away from "classic" methods, in order to bring what seems relevant to me... and I dare to change and propose something else if I find that it doesn't work! As a primary school teacher, I know how to adapt to younger children and am familiar with the different stages of teaching and learning mathematics. Through various other experiences, I also know how to provide older students with what they need, whether in terms of content or methodology. The feedback from families at the school has always been very positive. I haven't had the opportunity to give private lessons yet, but I'm looking forward to it: I really enjoyed the APC (supplementary educational activities) sessions where I could help 3 students gain confidence in themselves and their abilities, and progress from where they were, just as I really enjoy helping my friends when scientific concepts seem complicated to them! I offer lessons via video call or at your home (Rennes). Lessons can be one-off (if you're struggling with a particular concept) or more regular. My schedule is flexible and may vary from week to week. Feel free to contact me if you think I can help you! Looking forward to getting in touch with you!

Trusted teacher: I am currently a third-year student at ENSTA Paris, an engineering school member of the Institut Polytechnique de Paris (IPP) on the Saclay plateau in Palaiseau, after 2 years of preparatory classes in PCSI/PSI* at Lycée Joffre. from Montpelier. I aspire to specialize in the field of nuclear and neutronics. I offer private lessons in Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science, intended for students from high school level to M2 Mathematics level or 2nd year of CPGE, wishing to master the key concepts of their courses as well as possible or deepen the notions studied. In general, my sessions take the following form: - Resumption of the lesson with the student: explanation of the key points and demonstration of the important theorems (results). - Application exercises: the objective here is to check that the student has understood the notions previously studied and to enable him to appropriate them. - Resumption of resolution methods: I provide a method sheet that I fill in throughout the course so that the concepts are well assimilated. And yes, it's cruel but without a method, we don't move forward. - More difficult problems: the objective is to push the student to imagine solutions to solve problems, a priori not immediate. I have already given many lessons to students. Some are today in the best preparatory schools, engineering schools, business schools in France. I have already given more than 300 hours of private lessons. I give financial math lessons to master's students at the University of Geneva. I am available to teach in Lyon. I can also teach in video.

Trusted teacher: Is your teenager seeing their grades drop and their motivation wane? Do your educational opportunities seem to be shrinking, and your future uncertain? I've seen hundreds of students go through this phase. And every time, with the right tools, the smiles return and the grades follow. For 9 years I have been giving private lessons in Maths and Physics-Chemistry for the following levels: Primary, Middle, High School, and Post-baccalaureate. My method adapts to each student and has proven itself. My Method: - 0: Identify the student's learning profile and potential areas of blockage/technical gaps (generally in 30 min the 1st session) - 1: Assimilate the theoretical concepts of the chapter using concrete tools (mind maps, knowledge bridges, etc.) - 2: Anchor your understanding of the subject through practical and visual applications - 3: Logic: Structure the Foundations of scientific reasoning by encouraging students to develop their own logical thinking through specific questions. Foundations that can be reused in other chapters (and scientific subjects) - 4: Guide towards Autonomy with targeted challenges and exercises to do alone and to correct together for the next session. This method, which I have been using with my students for 9 years, has enabled them to overcome all their shortcomings in scientific subjects and master them in order to pass their exams. But above all, my students find a smile again at the idea of studying Maths and Sciences because they regain something important: confidence in their abilities. All my students preparing for the Bac or the Brevet have obtained them. Testimonials from Parents & Students - Mother of Maëlle, who took out of math classes and is taking her science specialization baccalaureate: "Good evening Abdé, Thank you very much for everything you have done. I know my daughter and it is a miracle that she has a smile and so much energy after 2 hours of math... you have given her back the desire to study and I thank you very much for that... I wish you every success (in all areas)" - Corentin, who got 15/20 in Maths in his Baccalaureate specializing in SES and whom I was able to follow for 2 years: "You have a lot to do with it, so thank you so much for everything you taught me! When I think that I had an average of 5 two years ago!" - Parent of Jules in 10th grade: "Hello Abdé, I hope you are well. Jules has been accepted into 11th grade with the chosen specialties. The efforts of the last month have paid off, thank you very much for your help. Jules really enjoyed working with you." I support my new students for increasingly shorter periods, and their feedback is increasingly grateful. In one session your child will learn to learn in a new way and will see school in a different light. In 3 to 8 sessions all the gaps disappear and we will have installed the right automatisms thanks to a working method adapted to our profile.

Narayan is a really good teacher. I urgently needed someone to teach me physics for two different medical school entrance exams. He was able to do it very fast and well. Every lesson started with him explaining a specific concept, and then he gave me practice questions to ensure that I was confident in solving them. Additionally, after every lesson, he shared his notes with me to study from them later on. I truly feel confident and prepared for my exams. Thank you so much!!

From only one lesson, I feel my son's confidence has increased hugely. Mr. Sarr understands that not only is my son learning to speak French but is simultaneously taking Chemistry in French at the same time. Even with this challenge, Mr. Sarr is able to walk my son through the process with patience, understanding, kindness and great knowledge!
