I'm Yves, a private tutor and translator from London currently based in Paris. I am a native English speaker with a degree in English and French from the University of Oxford, and have been tutoring (English, French, critical thinking and university admissions) professionally since 2018. Outside of work, I am a poet, painter, and amateur programmer.

For students looking to apply to Oxford, Cambridge, and other UK universities, I provide comprehensive support. From academic English enhancement and assistance with UCAS applications to admissions tests and interview preparation, I'll guide you every step of the way. Have you dreamt of reading Shakespeare and making sense of his words ? Did you know that some Shakespearian plays are easier to tackle than others ? In this class we will be looking at one of Shakespeare's fantasy comedies or one of his tragedies. We will read the play together and discuss the usage of words, as well as its historical contexts. We will study the most important passages in the way they have influenced world culture. I encourage my students to memorise these passages by heart, a gratifying experience.

Native Spanish, I master this Language at C2 level and am very close to this culture.
I had my bac S mention Very good, and my passage in CPGE B / L in Nancy allowed me to develop a great capacity for work and widened my knowledge.
