Dear music lovers,

I am a Master's graduate of HSLU Music and offer double bass lessons for anyone who would like to just play the double bass.

The offer is valid for everyone from beginners to advanced level musicians.

I am an active freelance musician and I am doing a second master pedagogy at the HSLU Musik. Therefore, I am especially happy to meet young musicians, which want to start playing the double bass or need some guidance for their practice, some ideas for pieces, and arrangements of their favorite music pieces. For children from 5 years of age, there are different possibilities for a double bass that fits their size.

About Me

I was born in Sofia (Bulgaria) in 1994, have been playing the double bass since 2005. In 2012 I went to The Netherlands to study with Prof. Peter Leerdam at CODARTS Rotterdam where I stayed until 2017. After that I came to Lucerne Switzerland, my current location to study with Prof. Božo Paradžik.
In Summer 2020 I graduated Master Performance at the HSLU Music and am currently doing my second Master Pedagogy also at the HSLU Music.

I have worked with artists like Yannick Nezet-Segiun, Valery Gergiev, Arie van Beek, Igor Gruppmann, Phillip Jordan, Vladimir Jurowski and Gordan Nikolitch. From 2012 till 2016 I was a member of the NJO(Dutch Youth Orchestra) and in 2016 and 2018 played with GMJO (Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra). The tours brought me to France, Germany, Austria, Italy, Spain, Portugal and others. I have attended master classes with Matthew McDonald (Solo Berlin Phil.), Matthew Midgley (Solo Rotterdam Phil., Luis Cabrera (Solo NetPHO) and Renault Garcia Fons (Solist) and others.   In the last years i have played with many professional orchestras, including CHAARTS Zurich and Doelen Ensemble, Rotterdam. In 2016 and 2018 I played with the Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester in the most prestigious concert halls of Europe, such as the Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Musikverein Vienna or the Royal Albert Hall.

In addition to my work abroad, I am also active in various ensembles and orchestras in Switzerland. In October 2018, I played chamber music at a medical symposium in the Marianischer Saal, Lucerne, and as the Solo Bassist of the Junge Philharmonie Zentralschweiz in the KKL.
Since the Season 18/19 I am also performing often with City Light Concerts Film in the KKL, playing both Double bass and Electric Bass. In 2019 I became a permanent member of the Orchester vom See, Zürich and Züricher Symphoniker.

''Once upon a time there was a breath. Lighter than a whisper, it melted into the wind, lamenting that it was never heard...''

But before continuing this story, a little introduction is in order.
🙋🏻‍♀️ | Hi ! I'm Lisa and I study clarinet at the Lucerne University of Music.
🎶 | But beyond the pleasure of playing on stage, alone or in a group, I love to make my passion known and allow other people to become familiar with my instrument.
👩🏻‍🏫 | For a few years, I have been teaching the clarinet online and at the music school of Crans-Montana.
But back to the story.

“...One day, he heard in the distance the chords of a guitar accompanying a joyful and magical song. From that day on, the little breath decided to become music. So he let himself be carried away by the wind, which deposited him next to a clarinet. Curious, the breath slipped into the mouthpiece and slid down to the pavilion. It was fun, a bit like a slide...''

But what is a clarinet? Let's take a short break in history to clear up this point.
📖 | The clarinet is a wind instrument of the woodwind family. It is made of ebony and has 18 keys that allow the musician to play all the notes.
🎤 | It is the instrument closest to the human voice. Indeed, it can sound very loud or very soft, very high or very low and has a wide variety of sounds.
🌬 | To make a sound with his clarinet, the musician blows into the mouthpiece and vibrates the reed. A bit like when you make a blade of grass hiss by blowing on it.

🇨🇭 | In Switzerland, there are many harmonies and other ensembles where the clarinet has a prominent place. You will therefore be able, as soon as you have mastered the basics, to meet lots of new people with whom to share your passion.

My name is Katarzyna and I am studying a master's degree in clarinet education at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences in Paolo Beltramini's class. I have been teaching children and young people as well as adults at various playing levels for five years.

Do you want to learn violin but don't know where to start? Or do you already have some basic knowledge but want to delve into a specific genre?

Whether you want to learn from scratch or already have experience, I can guide you through the entire repertoire: I have experience with every musical genre in which the violin will certainly play a major role. From classic to romantic, from pop to contemporary.

As far as technology is concerned, I was able to deal with the various cornerstones of violin technique during my years of study. In general, the technique I teach is based on the confidence and familiarity that a violinist must have with his instrument: confidence on the fingerboard and the comfort of a correct posture are the characteristics of a good violinist.

I am a violinist and have already completed two master's courses: one at the Conservatorio di Santa Cecilia in Rome and the other at the Bern University of the Arts. I am currently attending the master's degree in music education at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences.

If you would like to take violin lessons with me, I will be happy to respond to your needs and adapt to your character and musical taste. In fact, I consider the individualization of learning to be fundamental: it consists in perceiving the technical, character and emotional needs of each student so that they can fully exploit their potential.

Hello! My name is Isabel, I am a Spanish cellist. I love teaching, I also learn a lot from it, and I have experience teaching both children and adults in institutions such as the Music School of Lugano.
In my lessons I focus on building a good physical and mental relationship with the instrument in order to learn how to handle it healthily and effectively. Always apply theory in connection with practice.

I now play as an academic with the Lucerne Symphony Orchestra.

Together we will explore the flute instrument in more detail and set out to achieve your wish or goal - be it learning a song by Billie Eilish, playing her favorite piece at grandma's birthday party, working on your technique and your fingers to train them so that they can play very fast passages, to discover new music with me in class and have fun, or, or, or!

I myself come from Aargau, but live and study in Bern at the University of the Arts. I am currently pursuing a master's degree in education. In addition to great chamber music and improvisation projects, I play and organize in the Bern student orchestra. I also have many years of experience with wind orchestras and enjoy leading register rehearsals.
In addition to music, I really enjoy being in nature, for example in the mountains or the refreshing Aare. I also enjoy reading and am interested in psychological topics.
