I am a university music student who is eager to share knowledge with others. I believe that music is an art that should be accessible to everyone, and a first start to understanding music is to understand the basis of theory. What normally is seen as something unaccessible and scary, I believe that can be seen with simplicity and enjoyment. I will be there to guide you from the very beginning of the learning process of music.
I am also native from Portugal and equally committed to share my culture. that is why I'm also available for teaching Portuguese to people who are curious about the Portuguese language and culture!

I finished in 2023 my bachelor in Choir Conducting at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. I started my musical eduction in Portugal, learning the piano and later learning composition in high-school.

Portuguese lessons for beginners, or intermediate students by a native Portuguese teacher

If you are looking to start to learn Portuguese, whether it is because you are just curious or it is because of work or even a trip to Portugal or another Portuguese speaking country, you can learn from a native Portuguese speaker from Portugal. It will be a fun and productive environment where we will work on basic vocabulary and pronunciation.

You will start to enjoy playing the piano both during and outside of the time of the class. You will learn how to be able to perform in a way that inspires your audience. I will teach you the basic music theory without going way deep into it because this is a performance class but you will learn what you need to excel in your performance. Additionally, I will teach you the principles of aesthetics of playing the piano. The repertoire that I focus on is mostly Western modern and Classical music, but we can also work on some famous Persian and Turkish pieces if you like. Of course, you are also always welcome to bring your favorite pieces to the class. Contact me for availability.

My name is Ben (26), and I'm a certified drum teacher with about 15 years of experience behind the kit. Previously I have studied jazz drums at Kunstuniversitat of Graz. Currently I'm teaching at multiple institutions in Amsterdam such as: Lucky Beat Music Club, United Pop, British School of Amsterdam.

As a certified drum teacher (Amsterdam Conservatory), I have my own teaching practice in the Q-factory in Amsterdam East/Oostpoort: Drum Practice East.
