After 6 years of studying piano, jazz piano and pedagogy in the Netherlands, I am back in France. I was the top piano teacher in the French community of Amsterdam for 3 years with 30 students per week.
My goal as a teacher is for students to develop artistic autonomy through the development of technique, music theory, confidence, and ear training. My lessons help people passionate about music increase their understanding and refine their technique. I’m a classically trained pianist and vocalist, with experience teaching, recording and performing. Although classically trained I was raised performing variations of Jazz and Pop music. My approach uses fundamentals and technique consistent with classical training, and applies studies in other elements.

My name is Matéo and I am 26 years old. I have been playing guitar for 9 years and teaching it for 5 years. After studying at the conservatory and music school, I obtained my Diploma of Musical Studies (DEM) specializing in jazz guitar. OPTION1) The course I offer is aimed at beginner to intermediate level guitarists, of all ages (children too!), in acoustic and electric guitar.
My goal is to give you the essential basics of the instrument (body position, technique, chords) as well as an understanding of fundamental musical concepts (rhythm, ear, reading tablature and/or music theory) which will be very useful to you as a musician.
We will base our learning as quickly as possible on real pieces of music, if possible suggested by the student because I think that learning by playing the music you like is the most motivating method.
As a teacher, I have always adapted as best I could to each profile to make them learn in the way that suited them best, make them play the music they like, help them with their difficulties and push them to surpass themselves in their abilities.
Finally, I always make sure that the lessons take place in a calm and pleasant atmosphere so that the student progresses at their own pace and learns while having fun.

OPTION 2) This course is for intermediate to advanced guitarists (and musicians in general) who want to acquire a deeper understanding of music theory. What we can cover, depending on your needs: analysis, harmony, composition, transcription, improvisation, music theory, ...

I graduated from the CNSMDP (National Conservatory of Music and Dance in Paris) in Saxophone Jazz (Master).
I teach saxophone for all types of levels and styles. I like to approach learning this instrument through oral transmission rather than through methods or scores. My name is Loris, I'm 22 years old, and I'm a student at the Paris Conservatory (CNSMDP) in the jazz department. I've been playing saxophone since I was 14 and previously studied in Germany, where I'm from. Since I started playing, I've performed in various big bands and solo projects, such as the South German Youth Jazz Orchestra. For my own projects, I've toured throughout Germany, France, and the Netherlands.
