Melinda is an excellent tutor and I've been completely satisfied by our clases. Melinda took care to understand my learning objectives before structuring are classes around natural conversation, reading, writing, and pronunciation. In particular, she prepares good (and interesting!) learning resources - Including new articles, film clips, and customised exercise sheets. While she speaks English fluently, she manages to teach in a clear and patient manner, meaning she rarely needs to switch to English to explain concepts. Beyond her talents as a teacher, she's incredibly friendly and personable. She's also shown a lot of flexibility regarding class scheduling. For reference to future students: I am a native English speaker learning French as a second language. I had an OK grasp of basic French before starting classes, but lacked both familiarity with grammar and confidence in speaking. I've had several lessons with Melinda and have experienced a clear improvement in my level and I will continue on a regular basis.

Lorette was great! In Nice with my daughter who is taking AP French in Seattle. Lorette met us at a local cafe and quickly narrowed in on my daughter (and my) level of French competency. She struck a nice balance of correcting mistakes and allowing the conversation to flow naturally. By the end of the day she had followed up via email with some exercises and grammar resources that were relevant to our lesson. Highly recommend Lorette if you're in Nice (or looking for a great French tutor online). We would likely continue with her online were it not for the 9 hour timezone difference. Passing through Fes, I had the opportunity for 1-1 tuition with Oumayma. Given my circumstances, we had to use office premises with temporarily limited Internet access. This caused her no apparent difficulty and we worked in French although both of us have Arabic and English skills. At the end of 8 hours, I had achieved my limited goals in colloquial Moroccan arabic and found Oumayma to be a talented tutor, able to adapt professionally to client requirements.
