Léa - The Hague66€
Trusted teacher: Bilingual French tutor – General & Legal French – All levels welcome Bonjour! My name is Léa, I’m a native French speaker from Paris, and I’d be delighted to help you learn or improve your French—whether for school, work, travel, or just for the love of the language. After studying law and working in international law, I chose to fully dedicate myself to what I truly enjoy: teaching languages. I now live in the Netherlands, where I teach both French and English to students of all ages and levels, with a personalized and friendly approach. 🧠 Whether you're a complete beginner, preparing for an exam, moving to a French-speaking country, or simply passionate about the language and culture—I’ll adapt our lessons to suit your needs, goals, and interests. 📚 I also offer lessons in legal French, perfect for law students, professionals, or anyone working with French legal terminology. 🎨 I believe language learning should be engaging and enjoyable. I like to incorporate cultural elements, pop culture, current events, and interactive conversation practice to bring the language to life. 🐾 On a more personal note, I live with my dog Rookie and cat Gus, and I love culture, lively conversations, discovering new things, and exchanging ideas. Whether you’re looking for structured learning or casual conversation, I’d love to help you reach your French goals in a supportive and dynamic environment. Let’s start this journey together—à très bientôt !

Trusted teacher: Hello there! My name is Antek and i'm a cellist and composer who graduated from Conservatorium van Amsterdam. As a cellist I've had the pleasure and honour of collaborating with renowned artists such as Hans Zimmer, being part of his 2022 European Tour Orchestra, touring over 15 countries and playing in locations such as London's O2 Arena or Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam. I am now mainly active as a performer of contemporary/experimental music, as well as classical music, freelancing in various orchestras in the Netherlands, having played in venues such as Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ, Concertgebouw or TivoliVredenburg. I offer cello lessons, regardless of the level - whether you are a curious beginner or more advanced player, i'm happy to collaborate and share my knowledge and experience with you, as well as inspire your creativity regarding both playing the right notes, and making artistic choices. I can also help you prepare for conservatory entrance exams by providing Solfege, Ear-training and General Music Theory lessons. As a composer, I'm currently pursuing a degree at Royal Conservatoire of Antwerp. I can help you work on your ideas, and how to write them down, to sound exactly how you want them to sound. That includes tutorials on engraving rules, orchestration, working in DAWs (Ableton) and using sheet music software (Sibelius, MuseScore), as well as building your craft and workflow. I'm experienced in writing both instrumental and electronic music, as well as performance art, live electronics and multidisciplinary projects. I have also collaborated with institutions like National Polish Radio or CelloWercken Festival Zutphen. I hope to hear back from you soon and I'm looking forward to start working on your musical journey! Peace and Love Antek

Maud - Retiro35€
Trusted teacher: Having lived abroad, I know that the most important thing isn't just grammar, but daring to speak confidently, understanding the culture, and navigating everyday life. My classes are specifically designed for people who want to live in France and need to feel confident in all aspects of everyday life: administrative tasks, schooling for their children, culture and customs, and everyday communication. The biggest obstacle is often the fear of making mistakes, of sounding ridiculous, of not finding the right words. My goal is to help you break through that barrier so that speaking French becomes natural, fluent, and confident. Why are my classes different? They're in-person (at the Retiro Park or at home), because learning face-to-face changes your energy. Plus, everything feels better when you're moving and in a pleasant environment. What we will work on together: - Real-life conversations and culture: ordering in a restaurant, talking on the phone, integrating into a group. - Daily life in France: administrative procedures, schools if you have children, cultural habits, what you really need to settle in. - Confidence and fluency: speaking without fear of making mistakes. My methodology: - Practical and realistic, always based on authentic situations. - Dynamic and motivating: role-playing games, interaction, moving activities, - Digital support: exercises on Kahoot or other websites to review at home. - Clear and useful grammar: just what is necessary, applied practically. - personalized feedback (with my experience as a language teacher, I know if you have an A1/A2/B1 level...) You'll only need a notebook and a pen to write down the essentials of each class. My goal: for you to speak French with confidence, enjoy the process, and feel ready to live in France, work, or simply learn for pleasure.

Learn Moroccan culture and the Arabic language - Moroccan dialect (Fes)
Oumayma

Passing through Fes, I had the opportunity for 1-1 tuition with Oumayma. Given my circumstances, we had to use office premises with temporarily limited Internet access. This caused her no apparent difficulty and we worked in French although both of us have Arabic and English skills. At the end of 8 hours, I had achieved my limited goals in colloquial Moroccan arabic and found Oumayma to be a talented tutor, able to adapt professionally to client requirements.
