I have experience in applying appropriate teaching techniques depending on my students, and have the creativity to make fun, yet educational classes.

My strong teaching motivation, that can be openly seen by my enthusiasm during my classes, comes from my passion of spreading the English language in different countries all over the world. I have seen the impact on my students’ lives that I’ve had while teaching in Belgium, Spain, China and Vietnam and want to continue having positive influences on people’s lives.

For vocabulary I usually use online pictures and drawings to help stimulate memory.
For grammar I normally allow students to say what is happening after watching a 10-second funny youtube video.

"L'enseignement est un art. Selon moi, le diplôme et les connaissances, à elles seules, ne suffisent pas à faire d'une personne un/e bon/ne professeur/e. Il y a tout un art, basé sur une grande part d'intelligence sociale, qui met en musique les compétences suivantes : écoute, empathie, compréhension, adaptation et pédagogie."

Je suis ingénieur, diplômé de l'Univeristé Libre de Bruxelles. Mon expérience dans le domaine des cours particuliers a commencé durant mes études universitaires où je dispensais quelques heures d'aide à la réussite dans une école de devoirs. M'étant rendu compte de la passion que j'avais pour l'enseignement, j'ai par la suite commencé à donner des cours particuliers à des élèves du secondaire. Rapidement, mon agenda se remplissait et les résultats suivaient. 100% des élèves que j'ai suivi ont réussi. Grâce à mon travail, des élèves qui étaient pourtant "condamnés" à échouer ont réussi leur année.
Aujourd'hui, je suis ingénieur analyste et chef de projet dans une grande entreprise. Cependant, j'exerce en parallèle une activité d'enseignement particulier en mathématiques, physique, chimie et anglais. J'enseigne aux élèves de 1ère secondaire à 2ème Universitaire. J'aide également pour la correction des travaux de fin d'études, mémoires, rédactions, que ce soit par la lecture critique et attentive, la correction des fautes, reformulation, etc.
N.B : je peux exceptionnellement considérer la demande pour des cours de plus bas niveau (primaire), mais cela uniquement si mes disponibilités le permettent.

Quelle est mon approche ?

Mon approche est multifactorielle. La réussite est complexe. Il y a bien évidemment le travail de l'étudiant, mais il y a aussi la motivation, le bien-être, et le sentiment d'être compris/e et non jugé/e. Dans un premier temps, je vais rassurer l'élève en lui faisant comprendre que les mathématiques, la physique, bref... l'école, ce n'est pas difficile. Cette déconstruction est capitale. Cela se fera en parallèle d'un travail de fond sur le matière. Le seul et unique but : la réussite.
