I am an experienced music teacher with studies at LCM (London College of Music) system, HKU Conservatory of Utrecht and BMus graduate of ArtEZ Conservatory in Zwolle.
I have teaching experience with children from 4 years old and adult beginners as well. I offer private lessons for music theory and piano. I have followed specific lessons for psychology and pedagogics for teachers.
My lessons include oboe practise and theory. My approach is artistic, creative and always based to the needs of each individual student. Every student takes the time needed according to his level and age. Even from the very first lessons, we will start playing music! As the student progress we will include reed making lessons as well.
I believe playing and experiencing how fun music can be is really important to keep the fun in the class, for that reason I use music fragments and even duets for all my students.

As person I am very patient and kind. I am always well prepared for every class and reward my students for their progress with small music surprices. I work a lot with children and that helps me to improve my creativity and understanding. Asking many questions is never too much for me.

Dear music and piano lover, welcome to my profile page!

My name is Waldemar and I am a classical piano teacher.
I teach young (from 8 years old) and old, individually or in groups.

I received my training from Fania Chapiro in Hilversum and later at the Amsterdam Conservatory with Danielle Dechenne.

Depending on your level, we will in principle cover all aspects of technique and interpretation. You can always make special requests known to me.
In addition, I think it is important to structure the lessons and focus on themes so that you really learn something.

In addition to being a piano teacher, I am also available as a composition, music theory or solfege teacher.

Would you like to take lessons with an experienced pianist? Contact me.

musical regards,
Waldemar

PS And my favorite composer? That's currently Franz Schubert ;-)

Music theory doesn’t have to feel dry or overwhelming, in fact, it can be one of the most exciting parts of learning music when it’s taught in a way that makes sense to you! My theory lessons are flexible, down-to-earth, and designed to support your unique musical journey, no matter your level.

Whether you’re just starting out and want to learn the basics, or you’ve been studying music for years and want to dive into more advanced topics, I’ll tailor each lesson to your goals and interests. We can cover anything from reading music and understanding keys and chords, to harmony, form, analysis, and even how theory connects to the music you’re playing, writing, or listening to.

My goal is to make theory feel useful, musical, and even fun, because it really is when approached in the right way.
These lessons are great for all ages and backgrounds, whether you're preparing for exams, supporting your instrument studies, writing your own music, or just curious to learn more about how music works.
