The goal of this class is to prepare students towards Maths GCSE, IGCSE and A-Level examinations. Classes are also available for American university applicants looking to prepare for the Maths SAT exams.

Lessons consist of a starter based on a previous topic or background knowledge needed for the new topic. Then the concept is taught, using visual aids and real world examples so that students understand how different concepts are related and how they can be applied to different situations. Before the end of each class students are provided with an opportunity to practice what they have learned.

If students are preparing for exams, the main focus of the lesson would be to teach problem solving skills adequate for each type of question, review key concepts and provide exam style questions for students to practice.

About Me

I am graduate in Electronic Engineering and have been teaching Mathematics since 2016, having taught and tutored many students with great success . Due to my experiences as an Examiner for Edexcel and IGCSE/A-Level teacher, I am well versed in preparing students towards their final exams.

I became a teacher so that I could help students exceed their expectations, as my teachers once did for me when I was in school. As a teacher, my students really appreciate my calmness and ability to break down more complex topics by relating it to concepts students can understand.

I am a qualified and experienced mathematics tutor. Graduated from the Free University of Brussels in 2011, I started my career by teaching remedial courses in different schools in Brussels. I then specialized in individual academic support by following educational training at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. I have been giving private mathematics lessons daily for over ten years.

The students who follow my private lessons benefit from personalized support. The first session is devoted to an in-depth assessment of the student's mathematical knowledge. The objective is to detect its weak points and understand their origin in order to adapt my courses to its needs. Throughout my years of training, I studied and developed numerous techniques that facilitate learning mathematics. The strength of my teaching approach lies in my ability to explain, in simple terms, anything a student finds complicated. I am passionate about this profession because it offers me the opportunity to guide struggling students toward success. I offer private tutoring in Paris (at the student's home) or remotely (online). My online lessons take place on an interactive whiteboard. This whiteboard is specifically designed to facilitate student/teacher interaction online. Thanks to this teaching tool, my online lessons are just as effective as in-person lessons.
