I am very happy to offer you one time cooking classes and make them a fun and constructive experience. I am creating a teaching environment for adults and children as well. We can cook together live, or you could just watch me cook and take notes, or I can take you through the process, while you cook. Or we could just chat, if you don't need the practice.

What I am bringing is my knowledge, experience, passion and creativity regarding gastronomy. Cooking is my biggest passion, so this is how it all started; out of love.

I can teach you international cuisine, with an accent on mediterranian, eastern european, sometimes fusioning with the asian cuisine. And of course my most well kept and successful family recipes, tested hundreds of times before.

I will introduce you to a healthy lifestyle and a modern take on food and food philosophy. All in all, we can attack all aspects regarding food and the execution/ creation of a recipe/ menu/ cookbook and so on. I am open on either proposing a meal or you can tell me what you want to learn to cook and then that's what we're gonna do.

I am a visual artist born in Barcelona, settled in Belgium since 2017. As an artist I have accumulated experience for the last 25 years. I am graduated with an Academic Bachelor in Fine Arts in the University of Barcelona and graduated as a Master in Visual Arts at Sint Lucas School of Arts in Antwerpen.

I am specialised in painting, drawing, experimental films, installations, language, sound and curating. In other words, I am a multidisciplinary artist.

I understand the artistic practice as a way to understand ourselves and the situations which surrounds us. In my classes I don't teach how to do Art, but as how to say something through your artistic work. With me you can work independently, with a coach who will challenge you with some assignments and giving feedback to your personal concerns.

In addition, you will learn how to work with several mediums, preparing your own material: paintings, canvases, and so on.

Clase 1: Biografía y formación
Se abordará su infancia, su crianza en un entorno católico dentro de la Unión Soviética, el contexto social y cultural de la época, su formación como estudiante de cine y sus primeras películas. El objetivo es comprender de dónde nace su mirada artística y espiritual.

Clases 2 a 6: Filmografía y lenguaje cinematográfico
Se realizará un análisis completo de su obra, siguiendo un recorrido cronológico por sus películas para identificar temas, obsesiones y transformaciones a lo largo del tiempo.
Trabajaremos su estilo y lenguaje cinematográfico:
– el tiempo y el ritmo
– las atmósferas
– la memoria
– los símbolos
– lo espiritual
– la construcción de sentido a través de la imagen
