About Me

My name is Virginie, I currently live in Bordeaux, a city in France. I am a French native speaker; also fluent in English and teach French online since 2017.
My students were and are of different levels, from beginners to advanced level. Some want to learn French as a hobby, others want to pass the DELF or use French in their professional life. I consider each student as unique and deliver personalised content to each.
I am a big fan of travels, I love exchanging about life experiences, cultures, arts, music, cooking, psychology and of course learning new things about topics I do not know.
I travelled across Western Europe, and stopped longer than 1 month in Belgium, Greece, Sweden, Italy, UK and France.
I enjoy very much teaching French. I believe speaking different languages has deep meaning, it is symbolic. It is like opening yourself to the unknown, a culture, a country, its inhabitants, it may appear scary, but it is wonderful. Despite the challenges you may meet during your learning process, you will grow and discover yourself a bit more. Learning a language is also an act of peace and openness towards the other, a different person.

Learning a foreign language is not a linear process that consists of memorising a list of words, and speaking a foreign language is not an oral translation exercise.

There are two types of approaches to acquiring knowledge:
