About Me

I've been teaching Chinese since 2012 – and I've also taught business Chinese many times. The participants have always been satisfied, which of course makes me very happy. At the university, I also conduct research on the Chinese language and characters, focusing on their development and how best to learn and teach them.

Education

Since 2012, I have been teaching Chinese courses to students of all levels, from absolute beginners to advanced learners. Over the years, I have also developed and taught several courses in Business Chinese, which have been particularly popular with professionals who want to improve their communication skills in the global business environment. The positive feedback from my students has always been a great motivation and encouragement for me.

In addition to my teaching activities, I am actively involved in academic research at the University of Hamburg. My focus is on the Chinese language and, in particular, on the study of Chinese characters. My research interests include their historical development, cultural significance, and effective teaching and learning methods in academic and practical contexts.

Through this combination of teaching and research, I want to create learning experiences that are not only academically challenging, but also highly relevant to the personal and professional needs of my students.

I grew up and had educations in China. I moved to Europe for teaching Chinese in 2019 November.
I am fun, active, very patient, and responsible. I have never come late to all of my classes for more than 10 years.
For children's classes, I prepare songs, videos, cartoons, teaching and explaining at the same time, They learn really fast and never feel bored when they are excited with a fun teacher and materials. I believe that interest is the best teacher. So I try my best to prepare before classes and send materials after classes to students.
