Hello my name is Bill, I am an English native-speaker from England. I am a certified English trainer with a CELTA certificate from Cambridge University.
I have been living and teaching in Frankfurt for over 20 years and with my understanding of German (B2) I am able to support my clients in their training needs.
My training is both focussed and entertaining.
I always have the clients needs and goals in my mind when planning and delivering the lessons, along with making sure that there are moments of light humour along the way.

About me
My name is Tom and I obtained my master's degree in Finance & Investments from Erasmus University. I enjoy sharing my enthusiasm and knowledge about topics such as business economics, economics, finance and accounting with everyone I mentor! During and after my studies I worked at an investor, investment bank and scientific research institute, and I am currently setting up my own company. I have been tutoring regularly since 2020; both to high school students and to adults pursuing a master's degree.

As a previous IGCSE & IB student graduate I understand the stress and difficulty in preparing for both the Mid-terms and End of year exams. The curriculum provided for both subjects will be based on deconstructing the theory into smaller sections which are then each focused on key vocabulary and factual information. Additionally, for each subject a clear essay structure for exams will be outlined and practised based on IGCSE & IB grading criteria. Dependent on how close the student is too their final or mid-term exams lessons will be personalized to improve on their limitations and conjointly a structured summary will be created to optimally succeed in their exams.

Correctly interpreting financial documentation can be very difficult at first. It is very important for entrepreneurs to understand how the business is translated into figures. In these lessons I like to zoom in on the business plan, what you should pay attention to in the figures and how a third party assesses the data.

I teach the basics of futures trading, and I bring 2 years of hands-on experience in these markets to help you learn effectively. Futures trading can seem complex at first, but I break it down into simple, practical steps so anyone can understand and start applying it.

This is a course of 5 (60 minute classes), I only teach in english.

Lesson 1: What Futures Are: I explain what a futures contract is, how it represents an agreement to buy or sell an asset at a predetermined price on a future date, and why traders use them.

Lesson 2:. Going Long and Short: You’ll understand the difference between taking a long position (expecting prices to rise) and a short position (expecting prices to fall), and how to apply these strategies in real market scenarios.

Lesson 3:Leverage and Margin: Futures allow you to control large positions with a small amount of capital. I teach how leverage works, how to calculate margin requirements, and why proper risk management is critical to avoid big losses.
