Hello! I’m Emma, a native English speaker and a recent McGill University graduate who spent the last year working as an Assistant Teacher in a New York City public Middle School.

In our English language sessions, I will help my students create a powerful and concrete foundation of the English language. No matter what level my students start off at, I will help them transition from their existing skill set to a level where they feel comfortable with conversational English--and even beyond! I am eager to help my students achieve their desired goal--collectively we will reach these goals. I have numerous years of experience teaching and tutoring students from the age of 3 years old all the way to 60 years old!

Hello, I am a 23 year old Franco-American who was born in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and raised in New York City! I studied Education at McGill University in Montreal, Canada where I received my Bachelors in 2019. For the last year, I have been working as an Assistant Teacher in New York City at a public Middle School. I feel really passionately about teaching and I love working with students of all ages, this includes adult-aged students!

I have a Bac S mention TB, German European section and mathematics option. I did two years of preparation at Lycée Sainte-Marie, Lyon, and I come back from a six-month internship in Berlin.

In addition to Russian and French, I speak English, Spanish and German. I studied for 5 years in France and worked as a salesperson in Lyon. I have been teaching English in Thailand for 5 years. I worked in several types of establishments (schools, language schools, private lessons) and with pupils aged 3 to 17. I also teach French and German.
With my 5 years of experience, I am able to create lesson plans adapted to the needs and age of my students, to organize original activities related to the themes addressed in classes. I create my private lessons with my students, when their age allows, to create content to suit their needs but also fun. The courses are divided into several sections to work on the different skills of mastering a foreign language (oral, written, listening)

The class focuses mainly on Grammar, Writing and Communication Skills. At the beginning of each class we will go through Grammatical exercises and finish with a discussion. In order to make progress each student will have to write an essay for homework. (Length depends on the level)
Due to my experience with international students and I can easily adapt the class to your needs. You tell me your weaknesses and we will work on that.
