I provide biology tutoring for students aged 8-16, with a focus on supporting the students to take charge of their own learning. I hold a PhD, MSc, and a BSc in Biology subjects, and have many years experience tutoring children aged 8+. I can teach in person and online, but prefer to work one-on-one, face-to-face. I break down tricky concepts into simple examples, and strongly encourage students to develop their own study materials to support both knowledge retention and application. I am a native English speaker, and prefer to teach in English, to students studying in English.
