Autodesk Civil 3D contains a complete set of tools that surveyors can use to download and process survey information, perform adjustments on network and traverse data, and import survey points into a Autodesk Civil 3D drawing.
The goal of this class is to outline the fundamentals of road design through corridors while focusing on the behavior and function of assemblies and subassemblies. This class explores the definitions and terminologies behind points, links and shapes— essential components for corridor modeling—and also addresses how subassemblies have the capability to respond to superelevation parameters when modeling complex transportation projects.

Education

• Responsible for roadway surveying by making exact measurements and providing relevant data to shape, contour, location, elevation, or dimension of land or land features on or near the earth's surface.
• Serve an integral role, Assess land features and elevations, and identify potential hazards.
• Helping to ensure a smooth process for the well-built road
• Measure the distance and the angles between specific points.
• Provide the reference points for the project
• Locate the boundary lines
• Conduct the surveying and the record obtained results, later verify for accuracy and corrections.
• Prepare, Based on the surveyed records plots, maps, the respective reports of the surveyed site
• Review the design, administer the works contracts including project performance monitoring and preparation of relevant reports and ensure that contractual clauses, whether related to quality or quantities of work, are respected.
• Make the necessary measurements and control the quality of the works, and co-ordinate all engineering decisions, including improvement of designs if necessary or required for the good implementation of the contract.
• Issue the orders to commence the works;
• Check the progress of the work, examine and attend the measurement of any work that is about to be covered, and order, if required, uncovering of unsatisfactory works and its satisfactory reconstruction.
• Ascertain and determine by measurement the value of the works in accordance with the contracts.
• Inspect the performance of works in compliance with specifications.
• Inspect the works daily during the construction periods, and issue the fields reports.
