I was born in Venice, Italy.
In the past years of my life, I have traveled the world, visiting over 80 countries and working remotely.
I am a professional teacher with 7 years of experience.
Italian is my native language. I worked on the translation of medical and legal articles, panels in the glass museum in Venice and worked as an interpreter at the court of Venice.
Three years ago I opened my own language school in the Netherlands: Lingodrops.
I have a degree in languages, I am certified in international law and I am a language coach. Language coach means that I not only teach you a language but also how to learn new languages! :-D

About Me

I am a professional teacher and a long-term traveller!
Throughout the years I've learned how to shape my work according to each student's personal needs and I've developed a method that allows my students to acquire the language quickly and enjoyably.
As for me, I am a polyglot (8 languages -Italian, English, Spanish, French, Japanese, Arabic, Hebrew, Dutch) and I have spent the last two years of my life travelling the world. Learning languages is my hobby and my biggest passion, that's why I can understand from my own experience many of the issues connected with learning a foreign language.
My lessons are available in Italian, English, Spanish, French, Hebrew, Dutch, and Arabic.

- I'm a professional Italian teacher from Italy, now living between Pisa and Rome. I have 10 years of teaching experience. I am very patient and I love to make a relaxed and friendly class environment. I have qualifications and experience teaching at different levels and in different contexts. I can help the student to improve the oral, written, and comprehension skills. Most important is that each course is based on the needs, interests, and availability of the student. I can offer students private accommodation in Pisa, a comfortable private apartment in the historic center of the city, a short walk from my home.

- The method is mainly what is called communicative, aimed at stimulating the student to speak immediately and putting the focus on the functional aspect of the language. For beginners, I usually follow a specific program, I prepare a course, and for each lesson, I send students the files that I scan from the various books. Also, the lessons can be essentially developed as conversations on specific subjects.

I'm Giorgia and I come from Torino, Italy.
I offer my native knowledge of Italian to any of you, who wants to discover this beautiful language.

I teach for all levels, from very beginners to advanced speakers, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age. I can also help with university exams and school works/assignments.
Being a pianist and a piano teacher, I already have lots of experience with teaching and pedagogical approach with the whole range of ages.

The lesson is intended to meet the student needs: the focus can be on the grammar, conversation or literature. In case of a middle-level speaker, the lesson will cover all four language's abilities: listening, speaking, writing and reading. My suggestion of a well planned lesson is, for any level, to divide it into two parts: grammar first and then conversation (covering all the abilities mentioned above).

If you wish to brush up your Italian, resume a past series of lessons, or simply start from scratch learning Italian, this is the right lesson for you! I like to personalize each class/course according to the needs and goals of my students. My classes are focused on improving the student's communication skills. At beginner and lower intermediate levels, I prefer using a text book/ student book in the first part of the class. I usually use "Nuovissimo Progetto Italiano" and "Arrivederci" by Edilingua, or "Nuovo Espresso" and "Dieci" by Alma Publishing. For the second part of the lesson, I create engaging contents using original videos, press articles, extracts from blogs and social media, literary texts. If the students do not feel comfortable using Italian from scratch, I can switch to English, German, or Dutch. The course fee includes the correction of home assignments.
