Approximately 25% of students every year attain an A* grade in their A-level mathematics papers - which means you can do it too. A*s aren't exclusively reserved for the brightest & best students - anyone willing to put in the effort is capable of achieving the top grade, that's the beauty of maths.
In my class, the overarching objective will be to obtain an A*. Everything I teach & the way in which I teach it will all be geared towards this singular focus. Students will find the class challenging up-front, but engaging meaningfully & doing what is asked of you will ensure that come results day, you will not be disappointed.

About Me

I would describe myself as thorough, frank & very decisive - qualities that I believe are reflective of my teaching. I am a current medical student at UCL, with 3 years of tutoring under my belt already. My experiences have sharpened my teaching abilities & emphasized a vital lesson: grades DO matter.
Anyone who professes otherwise is foolish; without the correct grades, various pathways are blocked to you, and thus, my lessons are heavily exam-focused. For students who simply wish to "learn" about a subject, do not take my class - I am reserved exclusively for those who aim to achieve the top grades in their exams (irrespective of their current status). Aim for an A* (Biology) GCSEs / A-level preparation

Typically, people often associate Biology with large amounts of memorisation, and that is absolutely correct.
To do well in Biology, at least at a GCSE/A-level standard, 2 things are required:
1. Memorise the information
2. Complete some practice questions on each topic you've memorised
It's as simple as that. Now, there are ways to streamline process 1. and 2. so you can maximise efficiency with regards to memorisation & application. And that's where I come in - studying medicine has only strengthened my ability to cope with large amounts of information & apply it in various scenarios, so you will be in safe hands with me as your tutor.

The SAT is a landmark exam for many high school students. A good exam score can be instrumental in college admissions. This course is designed to provide students with resources to set a goal score, make a study plan, and feel confident on test day. I got a 1530 on my most recent SAT, and I am dedicated to uplifting students to and beyond that score.
I can help specifically with the English and Math multiple choice parts of the exam. With students I will cover both content, the information being tested on the exam, and testing strategies, how to more efficiently and effectively take the test.
