In order to optimize the time available (and to put ourselves in conditions closest to oral exams), we choose together an extract from a work that the student will have previously prepared before the lesson. I am a student in the second year of a Bachelor of Mathematics at EPFL. In high school I participated in tutoring freshmen twice. It was a question of helping them to organize themselves, and of giving them support lessons in scientific subjects. I also helped friends in economics to progress in math. I started tutoring elementary school students, and I have to say I'm really enjoying it! It's a first step into teaching for me, as my long-term goal is to become a teacher, and these experiences are a bit like a "real-life test."

I really love science subjects, where I like to make sometimes somewhat abstract concepts clearer and more concrete, but I am happy to adapt to the needs of each student.
