Tiffany - Paris42€
Trusted teacher: Are you seeking for a creative and uplifting way to consciously reconnect with yourself ? Transcendental Dance® is a practice that will guide you to embrace your emotions and help you to reach your true authentic self. Through meditative dances, guided imageries, and energy healing modalities. As a body-mind-soul coach, and professional dancer, I'm here to support and guide you in your process of discovering your inner power through: - energy alignment, guided meditation, breathing exercises - self-expression & subjective experience through dance - expanding your heart space, emotional awareness, and healing in movement and dance - release of stress, judgment, and trapped emotions - grounding, self-care, resilience - and more... Dance can be a practice of introspection, transformation, and transcendence of one’s subjective experiences into a worldwide journey. * Instead of suppressing these emotions and creating energetical and mental blockages (that can end up into somatic pains or burn-out): we should pay more attention to these inner warning messages and strengthen our emotional intelligence to be able to cope with the infinitesimal external stimulus and daily-stress of our very fast lives. It can be challenging to sense with clarity what is the origin of some feelings of frustration, unsatisfaction, discomfort, or grief, and it can be intimidating or discouraging to walk alone on that path. It is a safe space to open yourself, to release the fear of judgment and limiting beliefs that keep you confined to an outdated version of yourself, preventing you from becoming who you are truly meant to be and from sharing your light with the world. This class helps you to commit to your better-being, presence to oneself countering wellness procrastination. What do you need to feel lighter, brighter, or happier in your everyday life? What is your self-achievement potentiality? * For who? : For anyone who enjoys movement and dance, and desires a better connection and understanding with their moving bodies. / One-to-one or group sessions. * Where? : Online via SKYPE or at the student's location. The sessions are tailored to the specific needs and capabilities of each individual. * More about the story behind this practice: Transcendental Dance® originated as a personal movement practice and was later deepened through a university thesis at Panthéon-Sorbonne University (Paris 1), alongside ongoing lectures on sacred and healing dance. It is grounded in a phenomenological inquiry into the spiritualization of dance today, often referred to as sacred dance and its therapeutic and inclusive dimensions. The research explores the metaphysical unity between the tangible body, understood as the material vehicle, and the intangible bodies (psychological, emotional, energetic, and spiritual). At its core lies embodied phenomenology: the study of pre-motor movement and the energetic movement of consciousness that precedes physical gesture, revealing the adhesion of the invisible to the visible. This approach does not advocate an escape from the body in order to transcend; rather, it affirms that there is no ascension without descent, and that transcendence is accomplished through full incarnation. Transcendental Dance® thus proposes a post-dualistic vision uniting body, soul, and spirit, integrating human existence within both natural and spiritual cycles, and unfolding as a practice of embodied spirituality, a dancing prayer, and a conscious methodology for personal transformation. Sacha - Paris48€
Trusted teacher: Hello everyone, My name is Sacha, I am a 32 year old professional drummer. I am endorsed by Soultone Cymbals (USA) and Agner Drumsticks (Switzerland). I started drums at the Dante Agostini school, I stayed there for four years and then I studied jazz drums at the conservatory for three years. I have been giving lessons for almost ten years now because I have always loved teaching and sharing my experience! I am currently part of several groups: ABRAHMA (stoner/doom), DELIVERANCE (post black/sludge) we were notably at Hellfest 2022 on the Valley stage and Temple and Le Cha (pop/funk in French). I was also the touring drummer at the end of 2023/2024 for the band AL QASAR (many international dates including WOMAD 2024 in Australia and Sziget in Hungary in 2023) I have rather rock/metal oriented influences, I was part of the group Sweat and Tears for four years with more than five hours of repertoire, resident at the Temple Rock Tavern (formerly Guinness Tavern). I also have experience in events with jazz bands (covers of standards) and jazz/funk with brass section (Stevie Wonder, Incognito, Jamiroquai, new JB's, etc.) I give lessons in the HF studios of the 9th and 14th so that students can learn directly on an acoustic drum kit, which is very important to me. The course is adapted to the student's level and desires, the goal being to allow him to be autonomous on the instrument as quickly as possible by teaching him the technical and reading basics. My method is inspired by the Agostini method but focuses more on learning pieces.

Melinda is an excellent tutor and I've been completely satisfied by our clases. Melinda took care to understand my learning objectives before structuring are classes around natural conversation, reading, writing, and pronunciation. In particular, she prepares good (and interesting!) learning resources - Including new articles, film clips, and customised exercise sheets. While she speaks English fluently, she manages to teach in a clear and patient manner, meaning she rarely needs to switch to English to explain concepts. Beyond her talents as a teacher, she's incredibly friendly and personable. She's also shown a lot of flexibility regarding class scheduling. For reference to future students: I am a native English speaker learning French as a second language. I had an OK grasp of basic French before starting classes, but lacked both familiarity with grammar and confidence in speaking. I've had several lessons with Melinda and have experienced a clear improvement in my level and I will continue on a regular basis.

Very sweet lady who is always asking how she can improve and cater her lessons towards your personal needs! Knows very well the French language and not on a fluent level, but also the technicalities behind it. Is willing to take time with you and work on your mistakes, as well as trying to explain some French key moments that are difficult to understand for foreign language speakers in a way that is understandable. Always makes sure to challenge you and sees how you can improve! Had a very lovely experience :)

Cristina is an outstanding teacher! she gave a cooking class to my 11 year old daughter (via webcam) and it worked very well: my daughter was delighted (and kept her smile for the rest of the day!), and the rest of the family enjoyed the result which was really delicious :-). Cristina is very enthousiast, organised and dynamic and she kept my daughter totally concentrated on her task during the entire lesson; A big thank you!
