Online tutoring is possible, but I prefer more traditional methods: I sit next to the student and we work with pen and paper, with or without the parent nearby (some young people feel calmer if the parent stays nearby, others find it which is embarrassing; I'm also a stranger to the parent, so I understand if you want to stay close). I prefer as little screen time as possible, I can show examples on the computer, for example we can make graphs and calculations in wolfram alpha or I can provide geometric animations in geogebra. I studied mathematics and teacher training at KULeuven. I have hundreds of hours of experience in tutoring. I participated in the summer course for incoming secondary education students who want to test whether their mathematics level is up to standard to start a mathematics or engineering course at university.
