Als masterstudent Farmacie ben ik gespecialiseerd in medische, wiskundige en scheikundige onderwerpen. Ik heb dan ook jaren ervaring en kunde om examentrainingen & bijles te geven in de betavakken (Wiskunde A, Scheikunde en Biologie voor vmbo/havo/vwo). Natuurkunde en Wiskunde B tot 4 havo en vwo. De bijlessen zijn ondersteunend, op maat en van professioneel karakter.

De stof wordt zodanig aangeleerd dat leerlingen op tentamens met meer inzicht opgaves kunnen begrijpen en hun opgedane kennis daarbij kunnen toepassen voor optimaal resultaat. Ik geef fysiek bijles in Zaandam en de Zaanstreek. Woon je verder? Virtueel bijles is een alternatieve optie. Bijles kan dus door heel Nederland worden gegeven! Misschien kan ik -bij genoeg ruimte- kijken of ik verder kan rijden. Die optie moet even besproken worden!

Het is meer dan alleen bijles! Via Whatsapp ben ik 24/7 bereikbaar om resterende vragen te beantwoorden! Roosters en planningen worden ook gemaakt om optimale resultaten te behalen.

After tutoring for over 6 years in the Amsterdam area, I am very familiar with the various school curriculums. Having moved around quite a bit, I understand the stress students undergo adapting to new schooling systems. I enjoy working privately with students to build their confidence. I previously was a primary school teacher of all subjects (Grades 1&2) for a private international school in Dubai. I am familiar with international school curriculum and challenges faced by students when moving to a new country.

I have extensive experience with students of all learning levels. I have been privately tutoring for over 10 years now. English is my first language (I am American). Tijdens mijn studie Econometrie aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam (afgestudeerd in 2015, MSc.) en naast mijn baan als consultant, heb ik altijd met veel plezier wiskunde en statistiek gegeven aan middelbare scholieren en universitaire studenten (HBO en WO). Als je moeite hebt met een specifiek vak dan kunnen we samen kijken waar je goed in bent en waar we ons tijdens de sessies het best op kunnen focussen. Een paar vakken waar ik in het verleden studenten in heb begeleid zijn: wiskunde, bedrijfseconomie, economie, rekenen, accounting/accountancy, cost accounting, managerial accounting, financial accounting, corporate finance, risk management en investments. Tijdens mijn sessies begeleid ik vrijwel iedereen! Van scholieren op het vmbo tot (bijna) afgestudeerden aan de universiteit, in alle financieel- economische vakken. Hierdoor heb ik een begeleidingsstructuur ontwikkeld die effectief, efficiënt, en leuk is.

Tijdens examentrainingen werk ik met oude examens met een focus op de laatste ontwikkelingen in het vakgebied. Zo zorg ik ervoor dat leerlingen de examenstof goed in de vingers krijgen en met zelfvertrouwen de examens ingaan.
