I am available for you, your relative or your friend online and in Den Haag. I teach adults of all levels and ages, including seniors. I'm Tom, and I've been teaching English since 2013. Originally I'm from the south of England, and I've been happily living in the Hague since 2021. Before this I lived in Taiwan and mainland China. I speak a bunch of languages besides English, like Mandarin, Finnish, some French, and a little Japanese – and now of course I'm learning Dutch! ⭐ English for Adults of All Levels and Ages My classes are light-hearted, relaxed and always interactive. People learn best when they’re enjoying themselves and feeling deeply interested, and that is my promise to you. I will correct your mistakes, but I will never shame or embarrass you for making them. My class is a place where people come to feel good and grow confidence. You can decide what you want to do in our class. Tell me in advance, and I'll spend time preparing interesting materials. For example: • conversations with feedback and corrections (grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation) • help with reading and writing • understand and practise grammar • learn idioms and natural language with context • prepare you for visits abroad or conversations with foreigners • creative activities like games I'll teach you the differences between formal and informal phrases so that you use them in the right situations. Estella is a very positive, always happy teacher. Even though my son has been having on-line lessons with her, we can always feel her positive attitude during the lessons. She is very patient, gives lots of important tips and feedback, which has been helping him to guide his learning, improving in every aspect of it. We can see how much she care about the whole learning experience. It’s been very useful to expend his time while at home doing the lessons. He has been practicing more and has been feeling more motivated since he started the lessons with her. We definitely recommend her as a Saxophone teacher!

Ai is a wonderful teacher. She's great at explaining all sorts of grammatical concepts and she's sweet with a good sense of humour to boot. I definitely recommend everyone who's interested in learning how to speak, write or read Japanese to consider taking lessons from her. If you're motivated and do the assigned homework, you'll make a lot of progress in a very small period of time. It's only been two weeks, but I already feel like my Japanese has improved considerably!

I've been putting off this review because I was afraid my review wouldn't be good enough to tell how great Anais is as a teacher! I've been taking lessons with her for more than 6 months now and my French has improved a lot since then. Before that I used to have classroom lessons that were "okay", but now I really feel that I'm making much more progress. Anais is a lovely person and her dynamic to teach is great, the time flies during the lessons. Totally recommend her!
