I was born in Istanbul in 1983. I started teaching Turkish while studying Turkish Language and Literature at university. I worked in a language school and at universities. I have been teaching Turkish professionally for more than 16 years. I also taught Turkish for 5 years when I was a university student. In 2018, I obtained a TESOL certificate and also began teaching English.

I teach both adults and children. Creating a comfortable learning environment for my students is one of my top priorities. If you would like to learn Turkish or English in a consistent and structured way, I would be happy to work with you.

I hold firmly to two main principles: creating a comfortable space for learning and building an encouraging atmosphere.

My students often describe me as patient, positive, and well-organised. Over time, I’ve found my own way of making Turkish feel easier, more enjoyable, and more practical to learn.

I love shaping each lesson around my students’ interests, needs, and learning styles. I adapt my teaching to the needs of students with special conditions, such as ADHD and OCD.

In my lessons, you’ll never feel afraid of making mistakes. Before long, you’ll start noticing them on your own and correcting yourself naturally.

Even though I use a communicative approach, my lessons are supported by a solid understanding of grammar, as Turkish has a very different structure.

I use the course book set prepared by Istanbul University. It follows a strategic approach to learning Turkish and includes all language skills—reading, grammar, writing, listening, watching, and speaking—from A1 to C2. All of these skills are essential for conversation.

I teach English for the A1 and A2 levels.

The workbook offers many exercises for homework or revision, and I support the book with my own authentic materials. I also use an interactive board that you can view anytime, and you can edit it as well. Repetition-based speaking practice plays an important role in my lessons.

I speak English well, and a bit of Italian, and I have also studied Persian and German grammar. I am interested in literature.

Do you want to improve your math skills? Whether for school, exam preparation, or simply as a leisure activity.

I've been teaching math for about 15 years. Over the years, I've met a wide variety of people, including students of all ages and from all over the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), as well as students from German schools abroad. My youngest student was 4 years old and my oldest was 56!

During the final stages of my studies, I increasingly focused on teaching until I started working full-time as a tutor about four years ago. Now I tutor students of all ages in Math, Biology, German, and English.

I want my students to enjoy learning. Accordingly, my teaching style is very relaxed. No two lessons are the same, as each one is tailored to the individual student. What I've learned over the years is that every student thinks and learns differently.

I haven't obtained a formal certification in dyscalculia, but I have occasionally tutored children with mild dyscalculia. Depending on the severity of the dyscalculia, I would prefer to refer you to a specialist.
