Persoonlijk ben ik van mening dat het reguliere onderwijs niet altijd voldoet aan de behoefte van elke individuele leerling en dat er weinig ruimte is voor maatwerk. Daarom wil ik deze mogelijkheid wel bieden! Bijles gaat verder dan kennis delen. Het draait om maatwerk, structuur, het opwekken van nieuwsgierigheid, verbetering van de studievaardigheden en persoonlijke aandacht. Ik wil kijken waar een leerling tegenaan loopt, wat zijn/haar behoeften zijn, wat het individuele tempo is en hoe een leerling de stof leert. Op basis daarvan kan ik doelgericht en op maat gemaakte ondersteuning bieden waardoor de leerling de lesstof in zijn/haar tempo eigen kan maken en meer zelfvertrouwen krijgt. Indien nodig zal ik tips geven om slimmer te leren. Ook kan ik ondersteuning bieden bij het inplannen en organiseren van de lesstof en het huiswerk.

LESMETHODE - MAATWERK
- Stap 1: Eerst bespreek ik wat het te behalen doel is, het tijdspad waarin het doel behaald moet worden, wat knelpunten zijn, wat zijn/haar behoeften zijn, wat het individuele tempo is en hoe de leerling leert.
- Stap 2: Zodra ik inzicht heb in de lesstof/opdrachten en de leerling wilt hierin begeleiding krijgen dan kan ik samen met de leerling een planning maken waardoor de leerling structuur en overzicht heeft. Een ouder kan deze voorkeur ook aangeven.
- Stap 3: Starten met de bijles(sen). Ik vind het belangrijk om structuur aan te brengen in de bijles. Verder vind ik het belangrijk om een leerling actief te betrekken in de bijles. Dit zal ik doen door vragen te stellen zodat de leerling moet nadenken over de theorie/opdrachten. Ook kan het visueel maken van opdrachten/lesstof een manier zijn om lesstof beter te onthouden of opdrachten beter te begrijpen.
- Stap 4: Indien ouders en/of een leerling hier behoefte aan heeft kunnen zij een voortgangsupdate ontvangen.

Extra information

- Graag ontvang ik voorafgaand aan de bijles de lesstof met de bijbehorende vragen zodat ik kan zorgen voor een optimale voorbereiding.
- De online bijles wordt gegeven via Microsoft Teams. Indien een ouder/leerling de voorkeur heeft voor een ander online medium, dan kan deze voorkeur aangegeven worden. Het liefste maak ik gebruik van een whiteboard of een voorbereide presentatie om de lesstof/opdrachten actief door te nemen met de leerling.

Ik heb een passie voor de Geneeskunde en ik wil mijn enthousiasme over alle vakken die hiermee verband houden graag overbrengen naar mijn leerlingen.

Mijn persoonlijke werkwijze zou ik als volgt willen omschrijven:
- De tijd nemen om de leerling in de eerste les(sen) te leren kennen en om de leerling op zijn/haar gemak te stellen.
- Een veilige en vertrouwde leeromgeving creëren waarbij elke vraag een goede vraag is.
- Hulpvraag en behoeften van de leerling in kaart brengen door goed door te vragen.
- Huidige manier van leren van de leerling in kaart brengen en eventueel aanvullende tips geven om het leerproces te verbeteren. Door bijvoorbeeld opdrachten van het huiswerk samen te maken kan ik zien hoe de leerling te werk gaat en waar het eventueel optimaler kan.
- Werken aan het opbouwen van zelfvertrouwen.
- Leerling activeren tijdens de bijles. Dit betekent eerst samen een opdracht maken terwijl ik het uitleg, daarna de leerling het zelf laten doen. Lukt het niet, waar loopt de leerling vast? Hoe deden we dit net samen?
- Een goede en realistische planning maken wat zorgt voor structuur en overzicht.
- Geduldige benadering waarbij luisteren naar de behoefte van de leerling centraal staat

Je suis un professeur particulier de mathématiques qualifié et expérimenté. Diplômé de l'Université libre de Bruxelles en 2011, j'ai débuté ma carrière en dispensant des cours de remédiations dans différentes écoles de Bruxelles. Je me suis ensuite spécialisé dans le soutien scolaire individuel en suivant une formation pédagogique de la Harvard Graduate School of Education. Je donne des cours particuliers de mathématiques quotidiennement depuis plus d'une dizaine d'années.

Les élèves qui suivent mes cours particuliers bénéficient d'un accompagnement personnalisé. La première séance est consacrée à un bilan approfondi des connaissances en mathématiques de l'élève. L'objectif est de déceler ses points faibles et d'en comprendre leur origine afin d'adapter mes cours à ses besoins. J'élabore pour chacun de mes élèves un programme de remédiation sur-mesure visant à combler chacune de ses lacunes. Au fil des séances, l'élève construit des bases solides d'apprentissage et retrouve confiance en lui. Je l'aide en parallèle à acquérir une méthodologie de travail qui lui permet de devenir progressivement autonome dans ses études.

J'ai une parfaite connaissance du programme de mathématiques du Collège et du Lycée (de la Sixième à la Terminale). Je suis également qualifié pour accompagner les élèves dans la préparation des examens internationaux tels que le SAT, l'OMPT, ainsi que le Baccalauréat International (IB) dans toutes ses déclinaisons : Analysis and Approaches (AA SL/HL) et Applications and Interpretation (AI SL/HL).

Au cours de mes années de formation, j'ai étudié et développé de nombreuses techniques qui facilitent l'apprentissage des mathématiques. La force de mon approche pédagogique réside dans ma faculté à expliquer de façon simple tout ce que l'élève trouve compliqué. Je suis passionné par ce métier car il m'offre l'opportunité de guider des élèves en décrochage scolaire sur le chemin de la réussite. C'est un réel plaisir de les voir évoluer et se réconcilier avec le monde fantastique des mathématiques.

Je dispense mes cours particuliers à Paris (au domicile de l'élève) ou à distance (en ligne par internet). Mes cours à distance se déroulent sur un tableau blanc interactif en ligne. Ce tableau est spécialement conçu pour favoriser l'interaction élève/professeur sur internet. Grâce à cet outils pédagogique, mes cours en ligne sont aussi efficaces que des cours à domicile. L'élève a uniquement besoin d'une connexion internet et d'un ordinateur, une tablette, ou un smartphone pour en profiter.

- Initial test or interview to assess your level.
