I will give this online yoga class completely customized for you. During the first lesson we will look at what you need, what your goals are or physical complaints. Are you experiencing back pain? Do you sleep badly? You name it and we'll work on it together. The yoga class can be combined with a meditation for inner peace.

I teach various forms of yoga and I am a certified yoga teacher with 5 years of experience in teaching. I teach Hatha yoga, Vinyasa Flow, Kundalini and Yin Yoga. I can completely tailor my lesson to you. This way we can make it a quiet beginner class or if you already have yoga experience, add more power and speed.

In each yoga class you do a number of yoga postures. All postures aim to make the organs, glands, joints, nervous system, blood vessels, balance, etc. function better. During the yoga postures, you stretch, stretch and stretch all kinds of muscles. The postures ensure improved blood flow to the entire body.

The yoga postures (asanas), the breathing and relaxation exercises work together in yoga to consciously and deeply relax. Yoga has a deep impact on the energy system and nervous system, the body has the opportunity to relax, recover and recharge. Through yoga you will not only feel physically fit, but it can also give you more energy and space mentally and emotionally.

Because you become more aware of your body, spiritual awareness follows and vice versa. During the yoga class you are with all your attention in the here and now and therefore with the exercises. By feeling and practicing your body with attention you increase the inner awareness. You gain insight into the interaction between thinking and feeling. This way you learn to recognize the signals such as stress and fatigue earlier.

My name is Rohima and I am a certified yoga teacher, but besides that... I am also human. I am based in Paris and would love to guide you in to different practices.
I offer 1:1 practices in the comfort of your own home. Think about a (yin) yoga practice with meditation. Think about breathwork, or assisted stretching (which we call PNF - Propioceptive Neuromuscular Facillitation) where I'll help you to move your body in different stretching positions which helps your range of motion & muscle flexibility.

My background:
I've been consuming science from every source, any area since the day I can remember. I know there is an incredible amount of false or misleading information even from scientific papers. With all the time I've spent consuming information, I learned how to separate useful information with information that is not applicable or simply false or misleading. This is what I use as foundation to learn a field.

Then I moved on to applying everything I know. I do keep an open mind despite the information I gathered to keep track of mistakes or misleading information. I am still learning to this day to perfect everything. Where I am currently at is that I can confidently teach you to train optimal for your first 5 years of serious lifting and probably more without BS. I'm willing to research any question you have into detail in case I lack that information. I will not teach you something I am not sure of.

I've been a fighter most of all. I've started at the age of 6 in Judo. I've done Kempo, Taekwondo then I ended on Muay Thai, which is Thaibox and basically the same as Kickbox but with extra knees and elbows. I've most experience in this sport as a student AND coach. I still use this for my cardio training next to my weightlifting.

Next to pure exercise, I can teach you how to make a diet suiting your needs. My focus on diet is to be realistic. Nobody is able to stay 100% on his/ her diet which is absolutely fine. You can't follow a diet if you can't cheat once in a while or you don't enjoy consuming. I can explain you why I make every choice, why you need certain nutritions, when you should consume what and why, how to keep it financially friendly, what supplements are worthy to take if any?...

The nutrition aspect is something I've learned from my school background (biotechnology, bio medics, biology). Do keep in mind, I never completed any degree. I was an awful student in school at those ages despite my interest. I simply was in a bad place in those years. Though I picked up consuming this information aswel because I had some digestion disorders. From then on, I studied a lot regarding nutrition and food intake.

Lastly I can garante you that I've been on the dark side and I've managed to come back without any professional help. Anyone interested in this can hear about my story as my introduction on our first day. I suffered from psychosis, depression,... Psychology was my biggest interest in life and I've spent most my research on this. This is what made it possible for me to treat myself and get out of these conditions once I realized my situation. I went from the person who thought he'd never feel anything ever again to the happiest time of my life with surprising simple steps.

I can coach you for daily life aswel yo boost your mental wellbeing. Making you able to do hard tasks by building up to it and not overdoing it which can end up in even more demotivation. I have a pretty good understanding of the neurological aspect of this as well. This is also something I can teach you without making it complex at all.

More background: I work as a child supporter, my father is a professional coach for elite Kickbox, K1, Thaibox, MMA fighters. My brother has a gym and is a personal coach. I may not be a true professional, but I have all the qualities and legit sources to basically be one.

In a world full of stimuli, our accelerator is pressed more than we use our brakes. In my lessons I teach you how to step on the brakes of your own nervous system, also called the parasympathetic part of our nervous system. When we have sufficient resilience, we can easily switch between the accelerator (sympathetic) and the brake (parasympathetic), but when we are exposed to stimuli and stress for a long time, this often takes more effort.

We are used to being "on" all the time, which makes relaxing more and more an art, because this no longer comes naturally. I will take you through your own breathing through the body. You learn to be present in your body from an effortless perspective. We support the body during various lying positions with pillows and blankets. In this way we can gently open and relax the shoulders, hips and chest area. You will learn to explore your body's "Relaxation response". By regularly activating this response, you work preventively to prevent burnout and related complaints.

Understanding Toxins, where they come from and how our body deals with them is fundamental to our mental and physical health and wellbeing. A healthy body can deal with most things in small quantities - unfortunately once the system has been impacted by a particular toxin for too long then a cascade of problems happen, which can cause problems in the short term and disease in the long term.
What many do not realise is that 80% of toxins that we are exposed to on a daily basis is actually produced by our own cells and metabolic processes.

Omdat lichaam en geest met elkaar verbonden zijn neem ik ook de mentale gezondheid hierin mee. Uit eigen ervaring weet ik dat onverwerkt trauma voor velerlei lichamelijke klachten kan zorgen. Ook heb ik mij verdiept in (eipi)genetica) en uit eigen ervaring ondervonden hoeveel impact genetische defecten kunnen hebben. Sinds ik mijzelf behandel met gerichte suppletie zijn veel van mijn kwaaltjes minder geworden of zelfs verdwenen. Daarnaast kan ik je - vanuit mijn jarenlange ervaring als gezondheidsjournalist - ook veel vertellen over wat er in de natuur groeit en hoe je dat kunt gebruiken voor je eigen gezondheid. Ik ken bovendien alle orthomoleculaire diëten (zoals glutenvrij, lactosevrij en suikervrij) van binnen en van buiten en heb daar ook veel recepten voor ontwikkeld zelf.
