In my classes, the student will grow his/her love for Music and violin playing by a very conscious work on technique and musicality. As a student, I started through Suzuki Method, which I followed for many years as a child, kept growing illustrated by the Franco-Belgian players, and discovered the importance of physical observation and technical accuracy from the Russian playing. Far too often I have seen young talents spoiled by physical tensions and also technical perfection with a lack of musicality.
It is my main objective to grow these two aspects in balance and combine a beautiful and encouraging repertoire with the necessary efficient exercises to free the body.

I have a Master of Music degree from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam.

I have students of all ages and they can tell their experience on their own.

Spanish is the second most used language in the world. It allows you to communicate with a whole continent. More than 20 countries speak this language and many of the greatest companies in the world have it in their entry requirements.

Spanish is one of the most beautiful Latin languages. It's not difficult when properly explained. Sometimes investing a bit of extra time in a clear grammar explanation will prevent you from wasting your time. I believe in a lesson divided into efficient Grammarly and idiomatic explanation and putting the acquired skills quickly into practice to build a strong and confident language skill.

I have a Bachelor in Music degree from the National Arts University of Argentina and a Master in Violin Performance from the University of Applied Sciences of Amsterdam. I have taught Spanish for 3 years at the famous Spanish school La Latina with more than 10 years of experience and had the most encouraging feedback of former students.

My name is Denise and I'm a professional singer with a singing master's degree from Catalonia's Music College (ESMUC) specialized in Historical Singing, Musicology and Music Education.

I teach online via Zoom, using software which allows you to see the exact keys I'm playing on my keyboard.

My teaching method is to focus on whatever type of music the student loves most, and to build from there. I believe that many people give up their dream of playing an instrument simply because they aren't inspired enough, so my goal is to instill a love for music, whatever that means personally for each individual student.

Everyone learns differently and has their own pace and rhythm. I have some students who like to have a regular weekly or biweekly lesson, and others who just get in touch once in a while when they have digested the previous lesson and feel ready to build on it. Whatever the case, I am very flexible and we can figure out what works best for you.

A bit about me:

Originally honing my skills on the British jazz scene and holding residencies in restaurants and bars around the country, I then went on to tour the world playing on cruise ships, hotels and festivals. I returned to London to complete my master's in jazz piano at the Guildhall School of Music, and during this time performed regularly at Ronnie Scotts, The Vortex and many other venues across the UK. I then spent two years in South America learning about salsa and Cuban music. I now mainly work as a transcriber, writing sheet music for all instruments including full Big Band scores. I have also worked extensively in musical theatre, most recently as musical director for 'Jersey Boys', and on the first US national tour of 'Summer: the Donna Summer Musical'. The video shown below is from my stint playing and directing 'After Midnight', a show set to the music of the Duke Ellington Big Band.

Welcome to my profile!

My name is Fabiola, and I am a violin and viola teacher and children’s orchestra conductor based in Maastricht. I work with students of all ages, creating a supportive, creative, and personalized learning environment where each student can grow at their own pace and enjoy making music.

As an active orchestral performer, I bring my professional experience on stage directly into my teaching. I help students develop a solid technique while fostering musicality, expression, and confidence. I use a variety of teaching approaches, including Suzuki, ABRSM, Trinity, and Galamian methods, adapting them to each student’s age, personality, and goals.

In my lessons, I also focus on how to practice effectively at home, tackle challenging passages, and prepare confidently for public performances.

I began my musical journey with El Sistema in Venezuela and continued my studies at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Madrid, specializing in both performance and pedagogy. I completed a Master’s in Violin Performance with a focus on Spanish music, as well as a symphonic master’s in collaboration with the Spanish Radio and Television Orchestra (Orquesta RTVE).

I currently collaborate with the Philharmonie Zuidnederland and the Spanish Radio and Television Symphony Orchestra, while also teaching private violin and viola lessons. I believe that discipline and enjoyment go hand in hand, and I enjoy guiding each student in their artistic and personal growth.
