I normally use the book of Peter Wastall (titled Learn as you play) as support, but it is not mandatory. There are plenty of good books btw! Are you an intermediate / advanced student?? I am sure you can still improve in all the basics, but on a different level. I'll teach you the importance of the "voicing" (technique named by the american saxophonist and pedagogue Donald Sinta) to improve your sound production and projection as well as the capacity of correcting and improving the intonation. You can learn all about phrasing and music interpretation, from tonal music until contemporary atonal compositions. My daughter had her first lesson and she is very happy with Nouhaila. Excellent teacher. From the first moment a pleasant contact and clear answers to all my questions. Nouhaila thinks along well about the objectives to be achieved taking into account the age of my daughter. (16). A warm person. My daughter is enthusiastic and really enjoyed the first lesson. Serious (to use the hour well and completely) with an occasional joke. It is also nice that the lessons can continue during the summer holidays.
