Bij mij kun je terecht voor vioolles, folklore, jazz (theorie), improvisatie technieken en ensemble coaching.
Samen gaan we op zoek naar jou muziek en creativiteit. Ik maak veel gebruik van (samen)spel en improvisatie, techniek is hierbij een handvat voor wat jij wilt leren.
Kennismaking met viool voor jong en oud, spelen met balkan ornamenten, op gehoor improviseren of juist verdiepen in harmonie of akkoordenschema's, dit zijn allemaal mogelijke onderwerpen in mijn lessen.
Mijn lessen zijn 30 of 45 minuten (niet strikt).

Trombone spelen is zo spannend. Veel genres om te ontdekken!
Wil je beginnen met het leren van de trombone? Misschien speel je al een aantal jaren maar wil je je techniek, ademhalingsvaardigheden verbeteren of een nieuw genre leren? Ik ben Alberto en ik zal je helpen je muzikale doelen te bereiken met een programma op maat. Mijn aanpak is om geschikte muziek te vinden voor jouw technische en expressieve niveau en specifiek te werken aan de uitdagingen die het vertegenwoordigt.

Muziek is voor iedereen! Kinderen en volwassenen
Misschien wil je je stel verrassen terwijl ze een bossa-nova spelen. Of misschien wil je de volgende solo-trombone worden bij het Concertgebouworkest. Iedereen heeft verschillende doelen bij het spelen van de trombone, het is mijn taak om u te helpen deze te bereiken. Als je nog geen duidelijke doelstellingen hebt, zal ik je begeleiden en de mogelijkheden van trombone spelen met jou verkennen. Ook, speciaal voor kinderen, kan ik je helpen een leuk pBone te vinden. Het zijn lichtgewicht kunststof trombones gemaakt van hoge kwaliteit en verkrijgbaar in verschillende kleuren!

Goede techniek en veel plezier
De belangrijkste les die ik in mijn carrière heb geleerd, is dat goede muziek maken alleen mogelijk is als je geniet van het proces. Natuurlijk zijn goede technische vaardigheden cruciaal, maar het bestuderen van oefeningen die je saai vindt, is niet de beste manier om je vaardigheid te verbeteren. In plaats daarvan zal het vinden van je unieke beste aanpak om je vaardigheden te verbeteren je naar de maan brengen! Zou u, om uw tempobewustzijn te verbeteren, met een metronoom oefenen of liever een drumbeat-sample gebruiken?

Je gezondheid is belangrijk! Lichaamsbewustzijn en ademhalingstechnieken
Niet alleen windspelers hebben baat bij sporten, goede houdingsgewoonten aannemen en zich bewust zijn van hun adem. Het helpt iedereen bij elk aspect van hun leven. Met een goede ademhalingstechniek kun je gemakkelijk spelen, voor een langere periode rennen of 's nachts beter slapen. Aan de andere kant helpt het lichaamshoudingsbewustzijn bij de productiviteit en bespaart het geld op de fysio. Life hacks die je niet mag missen!

Improvisatie en ruimdenkendheid
Datzelfde gevoel van ter plekke kunst maken. Er kunnen maar een paar ervaringen op betrekking hebben. Wanneer we verkennen en creëren, wordt onze stroomstatus geactiveerd. We zijn volledig ondergedompeld in de activiteit en de wereld om ons heen verdwijnt. Als je wilt, gaan we op reis om nieuwe emoties, kleuren, geluiden, harmonieën, texturen, stijlen en genres te ontdekken. En erop improviseren. Laten we creatief worden!

Technologie in muziek. Opnemen en produceren
Laten we eerlijk zijn, we bevinden ons in de 21e eeuw en de mogelijkheden van technologie zijn eindeloos op audiovisueel gebied. Opnemen voor audities, je eerste single produceren en uitbrengen, live looping, gebruik van effecten ... Dat kun je allemaal bij mij leren. Ben je nieuwsgierig? Boek nu uw les!
Ok, maar hoe zien mijn lessen eruit?
Ademhalingsoefening is een van de beste manieren om te beginnen met opwarmen. Het duurt de eerste 5 minuten van je les en je lichaam is klaar om te beginnen met spelen.
Vervolgens gaan we aan de slag met uw specifieke doelen. Misschien oefenen we muziek die verbetering op het hogere register vereist, misschien werken we verschillende schalen uit voor improvisatie, of misschien wil je een nieuw genre ontdekken en er diep in gaan. Muziek lezen, gehoortraining, frasering, muziektheorie, zoem- en embouchurepositie, articulaties (legato, staccato, accenten), dynamiek ... Dit zijn slechts een indicatie van waar we aan zouden kunnen werken.
De laatste minuten van uw les zijn het moment om te ontspannen. We kunnen creatief worden, samen deuntjes spelen, improviseren of zelfs praten over een specifiek onderwerp zoals muzikaliteit, kunst, creativiteit, techniek, theorie of de muziekindustrie bijvoorbeeld.

Groepslessen en ensembles
Alleen muziek maken is leuk, maar spelen met mensen brengt het naar een hoger niveau! Als je het idee leuk vindt, breng ik je samen met andere medestudenten voor techniekworkshops, jamsessies, duo met piano of welke andere activiteit dan ook die we interessant voor je kunnen vinden.

Ik bied flexibiliteit in mijn schema zodat uw trombonelessen passen in uw agenda. Ik kan bij jou thuis komen, of misschien ga je liever naar mijn leslokaal in Utrecht. Ik heb koffie of thee voor je klaar staan.

Online is een nieuwe trend geworden. Ik zal je helpen met het opzetten van je apparatuur en me concentreren op wat belangrijk is, muziek. Boek nu een les!

Ik ben een koperen artiest en docent die al meer dan 15 jaar optreedt in klassieke en moderne muziekensembles. Gedurende deze tijd heb ik talloze masterclasses bijgewoond en veel plezier gehad in verschillende professionele ervaringen zoals optreden op Tomorrowland, een avant-garde muziekfestival in Malta of de grote symfonische meesterwerken met symfonische orkesten in Spanje en Nederland.
Tijdens mijn officiële studies in Spanje, Italië en Nederland heb ik een bachelor- en masterdiploma muziekprestaties en een masterdiploma muziekeducatie behaald.
Tegenwoordig vind je mij nog steeds koperen doceren in de regio Utrecht, thuis componeren en produceren van mijn eigen muziek, tuba spelen met een symfonisch orkest, trombone in een reggaeband of trompet improviseren op een techno-track.

Gitaar leren spelen kan in elke fase van het proces een geweldige ervaring zijn! Mijn ultieme doel is om mijn studenten te helpen hun vaardigheden en muzikaal begrip te ontwikkelen door muziek te leren en te spelen die ze leuk vinden.

Daarom pas ik mijn lesmethoden aan de smaak en behoeften van elke student aan. Tijdens elke les zullen we werken aan drie hoofdlijnen van ontwikkeling: technische aspecten, theoretische kennis en performatieve praktijk.

The lessons are designed by the teacher, Ernesto, a graduated trumpeter from Conservatorium Van Amsterdam, with experience being an international musician, to expose the student to the various aspects of trumpet performance and to develop a course of study to help him/her develop and maintain a good performance skills starting from any level.
In case the student is not a trumpet player, but wants to develop his/her musical skills by learning the theory, this course is also designed for that.
The course is designed to aid the student in achieving the following objectives:
-Learn the basics of musical performance with special attention to rhythm, tone quality, musical phrasing, range, intonation, improvisation, ear training and style.
-Develop the ability to perform music from different jazz periods.
-Develop the ability to play in a trumpet section (Big Band, Commercial sections, Latin sections, etc.)
-Demonstrate the ability to perform and understand music in varied key signatures, keys, and meter signatures.
-Develop the student ́s creative skills by working on the student ́s abilities to compose and arrange the student ́s own music.
-Prepare the students for the entrance examinations to Conservatories and other educational institutions.

SING WITH MARIO!

The 45-minute vocal performance class (held in a studio room) entails a multidimensional approach that focuses on vocal technique, performative mindset and artistic skills for singers, also offering numerous opportunities for vocal competitions around the world (through the World Association of Performing Arts, WAPA).

In addition to Mario's 17 years of experience on stage and on camera, he has professional experience as a vocal coach. A lesson with Mario begins with vocal warm-up exercises (10 minutes); then, all vocal/performative/artistic skills are being taught through singing a song of the child/teenager's choice (30 minutes). The class ends with evaluation, advice and suggestion of exercises (5 minutes) so that the student can practice at home until the next class.

If you are a parent and would like to introduce your child to the art of music, Mario will create a fun learning environment and make the classes interesting, dynamic and entertaining. Water, tea, candies, or any other drink/snacks that your child would like will be provided for inspiration!

If you are a teenager, Mario will make sure to align your personal/professional goals and visions with the content and focus of the classes.

Hi there!
I am Rafael, a graduate Master's student at the Conservatorium Maastricht. I have been playing trumpet for more than 15 years and I am excited to share my passion and show others the fantastic sound of the trumpet. In the past when I was still living in Portugal (my home country), I have been a trumpet teacher for musicians of all ages. Additionally, I have experience in orchestra playing such as Radio Filharmonisch Orkest, NJO (Nationaal Jeugdorkest), and Limburg Jeugd Orkest. I am passionate about classical music, however, I am open to working with any music style, like Jazz, Pop, or Baroque. Before coming to the Netherlands, I graduated from the ESMAE (Escola Superior de Música e Artes do Espetáculo) in Porto, Portugal. During my career, I have been working with musicians such as Floris Onstweder, Benny Wiame, Kevin Wauldron, Telmo Barbosa, and Carlos Leite. I also did a masterclass with musicians like Reinhold Friedrich, Jeroen Berwaerts, Charles Schlueter, Gábor Tarkövi, Fábio Brum, Clément Saunier, and Andrei Kavalinski.

My goal as your teacher is to give you the main tools to play trumpet and expose you to the various aspects of trumpet performance. I can teach you about aspects like style, tone quality, endurance, and musical phrasing. I am also happy to help you with any aspects of music theory if the student is interested in doing so. I will help you understand concepts such as keys and meter signatures. I am also willing to help you prepare for possible entrance exams to music schools or Conservatoriums. Most of all, however, I want to show you how fun playing an instrument can be!

Having fun is the first important step in order to learn more about this beautiful instrument. With the Suzuki method you can easily learn all styles of music and study a big repertoire of technics. We can discover different aspects of the guitar by creating personal and individual exercises in class. It's a different way to learn and a really visual method used to make learning fun for all ages. It does not matter if you are an absolute beginner with no music background. All classes can be recorded with audio devices and the music can be transcribed in tablature.

Hello! I am Inês, a professional violinist based in Amsterdam.

After completing my Bachelor at Codarts-Rotterdam and my Master and Postgraduate in violin performance at the Koniklijk Conservatory Brussel, I am currently active as a freelance violinist and perform regularly in chamber music concerts, having played in festivals such as the Grachten Festival, OUTDOORS, Opera Forward Festival, Uitmarkt, among others.

I am also passionate about teaching, and have experience working both in individual lessons with a wide range of ages and in conducting group workshops for children.

Wether you are taking your first steps with the violin or if you have played it before and want to pick it up again, I will guide you through developing your musical ear, cultivating a solid and healthy technique, reading music scores fluently, and mostly - to enjoy playing music!

Hey, I'm Iván, an argentinian musician that recently moved to Amsterdam. I've been a guitarist for more than 10 years and even though it is not the only thing i do with music, i've always enjoyed teaching. As a teacher i usually base my method on playing actual music oriented on the student's personal taste, with the possibility of developing in a more academic way later on if required.
I studied classical guitar in Argentina and Spain, i've taught since i was a child and i have 3 trinity college degrees on classical guitar, rock and pop guitar and music theory.
