He is passionate about enhancing the emotional impact and storytelling of films through his music.

Rikiya は、国内外にて様々な映画音楽を担当している日本の映画音楽作曲家、ギタリストです。これまでにアメリカ、インド、オーストラリア、ドイツ、カナダを拠点とした映画のスコア制作や楽曲提供、担当した映画はLAをはじめ全米でのフィルムフェスティバルやスクリーニングで上映が行われ多様な評価を受けている。
また、自身でアコースティックを中心としたソロ演奏活動や民族楽器、大自然のアンビエンスを融合させ映画音楽からインスピレーションを受けた作品の制作も行っている。
