My name is Lucien, and I'm a student at Conservatorium Van Amsterdam. My versatile teaching style allows you to learn at your own pace in order to achieve your musical goals, whatever they may be. Whether you would like to learn to play your favourite songs, develop the skills necessary to play in a band, explore a different musical style or otherwise, I can help you make faster progress. My teaching can also offer the following services among many others:

- open and bar chords
- jazz 4 part, 5 part and 6 part chords
- chord substitutions and reharmonisation
- scales
- playing melodies on the guitar (with and without chords underneath)
- right and left hand technique
- improvisation and ear training
- music theory, music notation and tablature
- guitar as an accompanying instrument (for vocalists, saxophones etc.)
- solo guitar performance, alternating thumb and walking bass line techniques

I am an experienced musician currently active on the Amsterdam music scene. At Conservatorium Van Amsterdam I have studied with internationally acclaimed musicians including Jesse Van Ruller and Reinier Baas. As well as developing my playing skills, this has given me an insight on how to effectively teach my own students and help motivate them to achieve their goals.

Currently studying Bachelors of Music (BMus) Jazz Guitar at Conservatorium Van Amsterdam

Previously studied BEng Aeronautical Engineering, University of Bath, UK and Beaumont School, St Albans, UK

What can I say? I love playing music! My main goal is to inspire my students. I do this by tailoring each lesson to the specific needs of the student so that they do not lose touch with the joy of playing the instrument.

Dear violin lovers! I'm a violin teacher for 10 years now, I have been teaching in Portugal and the Netherlands. My lessons can be given in English, Portuguese, French or Spanish.

Playing the violin is my passion, especially when I can pass on my knowledge and love for music to my students of all ages and levels.

I work as a team with you, finding the right method that fit your needs. What is important for me is to work on a good connection with the instrument and find the right basis for the start of your violin playing.
In my violin lessons, I would like also to share with you my musical knowledge, show you recordings of great violin players, prepare with you pieces that you always wanted to play and give you the tools so you can achieve your goals in music. I like to share the general knowledge of violin playing as well as basic and intermediate music theory lessons so you can enter in the world of music, but especially to have fun!!

My lessons can be shared between violin and theory together depending on what you are looking for.

The lessons will be at my house if you are in need of an instrument we can find one for you!

I did my Bachelor at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam with the teachers Maria Milstein and Eliot Lawson and completed my Masters in Performance degree with excellency as well in Amsterdam under the guidance of Liviu Prunaru and Mathieu van Bellen while studying baroque violin with Shunske Sato.

I have my own violin class in Amsterdam, and I love teaching.

Experiencing the joy of music-making can be one of the most rewarding things in life!

If you want to learn to play the piano, or to improve your piano playing, I can help you develop your technique and musicality. I am a piano coach at the conservatoire in Zwolle, and I am able to apply those skills to teaching amateur musicians as well.

After discussing your goals, I'll see what's the best way to guide you there - and then we'll get to work together! My goal is that you're inspired and enjoy exploring the piano.

I offer individual lessons of half an hour or an hour and I can teach at your house or online.

Hey peeps!
I love to give guitar lessons in a relaxed mood that will not put pressure on you, only giving you feedbacks that will improve your practice. The first lessons will generally consist of covering the basics by learning simple songs. Depending on how it goes, we will go straight into learning songs that you want to play, where you will learn even more!
I can teach you how to play across several appointments during the week so you'll learn faster and enjoy playing straight from the beginning :)

My techniques start by assessing your level and giving specialized lessons for each. This will start by either understanding the foundations of music theory on one selected piece and slowly adding components to complete it such as emotions. My lessons can span any hours you would like, the minimum being 1 hour.

Hello everyone! I’m Taras a professional panflute player. I started playing the panflute when I was 5 years old. Ever since then I spent every day improving my skills and perfecting my craft. Throughout my career I had won numerous prices and was able to perform throughout Europe. I’m currently studying at the Conservatory van Amsterdam. I’m teaching private lessons as well as giving masterclasses at festivals. If you are interested in learning to play the panflute or improve your playing skills, I would love to help you along the way. With my years of experience and my wide ranging love of music from folk music to classical to contemporary I’m willing to broaden your musical horizon and bring you a wide range of technique to help you becoming the musician you want to be!

I teach from beginners to advanced players. I will help you better understand the instrument and music in general as well as give you an understanding of music theory. My lessons will be tailored to your needs and aspirations for you to see the results you want.
