Hello! Soy Raquel, how are you? I hope that you are ready to enjoy while learning some español and/or English! I am a Spanish primary teacher who has been teaching Spanish to non-native students from Primary age up to adults (from beginners to advanced learners) and I do also teach English to people who have a beginner or intermediate level as my Primary Bachelor's Degree was carried out in English and I have been living in the UK for 5 years now. I have worked in a Primary school in Oxford as a KS1 and KS2 teacher and I am currently a Spanish Language Assistant in a prestigious grammar school working writing, listening, oral and reading skills and preparing for GCSE and A-Levels. I have been doing private tutoring for more than 10 years and I do love my job, meeting new people and especially sharing my passion of languages with others! I have experience teaching SEN and I hold a Master's Degree on learning difficulties. I believe that the most important objective when it comes to learning a language is to be able to communicate. To do so we need to practise as much as we can and we will make mistakes- but I will be there to support you through this journey. Depending on your level and interests we will have a focus on the different skills while we analyse texts, grammar exercises, books, music, movies, etc. I think that is vital to have an open conversation about what would you like to achieve and the way that you enjoy discovering new things as that is essential from my point of view.
