I am a UK-qualified teacher with a decade of experience teaching and leading at some of the best international schools around the world - Europe, Asia, Africa and South America. My work teaching and leading departments in schools included curriculum planning and design, assessing & tracking hundreds of students, supporting student university applications, and implementation of additional measures for students with specific learning support needs. I believe that education is most effective as an interesting, constructive and engaging discussion between student, class and teacher; enjoyable and stimulating, rather than stressful and pressure-laden. I keep my classes light and relevant, while also maintaining high standards for students to build their expectations for themselves. I am CELTA-qualified and my experiences teaching non-native English around the world have helped me understand the challenges faced by students studying subjects in their second- or third- language.
