I am an Italian synthetic organic chemist by training, having completed my undergraduate and post-graduate education in University of Milan, where I specialised in organic chemistry with a thesis on the total synthesis of a natural compound called Evodiamine. I then moved to the UK, where I was awarded a PhD on synthetic methodology on the synthesis of statically hindered cyclopropanes. I later took several post-doctoral experiences in medicinal chemistry, and also gained industrial experience in CRO, progressing form Senior role to Leader.
Aside from chemistry lesson, I am very happy to help students to improve their italian, or develop a closer understanding of latin.

Italy is a wonderful country where lots of painters, writers and artists of every kind from all over the world have spent part of thir lives, contributing to increase its cultural value and importance. Nowdays, Italy has become one of the most visited land of the whole Europe and the entire world. At the same time, Italians are, little by little, becoming more and more copious in our society and we have increasing opportunities to relate with them one way or another.

My intention is to spread the beauty of the Italian language and culture in the Netherlands, allowing you to enter the incredible world of its. Travelling to Italy and see its wonderful hotspots, have a conversation with its friendly citizens (even in the Netherlands) and become familiar with its culture will no longer be a problem with my course based on the conversation, but also on the deep teaching of the grammar.

Ik geef bijles en huiswerkbegeleiding voor het vak Nederlands. Hierbij gaat het niet alleen om de Nederlandse grammatica, spelling en woordenschat, maar ook om begrijpend lezen, literatuur en vertaaltheorieën.

In mijn lessen richt ik me volledig op waar je hulp bij nodig hebt. Als je bijvoorbeeld graag extra uitleg wilt over dingen waar je tegenaan loopt, of begeleiding zou willen bij het huiswerk of bij het maken van een werkstuk, een boeksamenvatting of een spreekopdracht, dan help ik je daar graag bij!

De lessen houd ik flexibel. Deze kunnen bijvoorbeeld altijd afgezegd worden en ze hoeven niet met veel tijd van tevoren te worden ingepland. Ik wil mijn relatie met de leerling en ouders persoonlijk houden, aangezien ik zelf ook maar een student ben.
