English and/or Spanish (oral expression and comprehension, written expression and comprehension)
As a general rule, my approach focuses on oral skills (comprehension and expression) without forgetting the written part which consolidates everything. Of course, my role is to adapt to the learner's level and meet their expectations. The course of a session therefore varies according to many parameters, such as the topic covered (vocabulary), the precision of oral expression (pronunciation, grammar), teaching tools (audio, video, written materials, etc.).
In any case, I make sure to cover all language aspects during a session, namely: listening comprehension ('word for word'), speaking ('idioms'), and reading comprehension and expression ('vocabulary + grammar').
This is a presentation of a 'standard course'. Other formulas are also possible, because it is the learner who dictates his priorities and I make sure to apply them while ensuring pedagogical consistency.
Finally, I would like to point out that any educational progress is the result not only of a constructive and interactive approach, but also and above all it stems from the regularity of the learner's personal investment. (for example, this can be achieved through 'homework' such as listening to audio extracts in detail from one session to the next, etc.).
