Piano lessons provided for beginner/intermediate students of all ages up to grade 8. The class will cover but is not limited to: scales, pieces, sight-reading, aural, technique, music theory. Performances can be arranged for the student if they feel that would benefit them.

Love to help others learn new things and through that learn new things myself. I am not one to subscribe to traditional teaching methods, there are lots of creative ways through which to learn and understand. For me in regards to piano the feel of the music is so much more important than the odd wrong note, but I have a lot of exciting methods and practices to help students play as comfortably as possible. The mental side of playing is also important to me, so making sure students are able to perform in front of others is I think a very necessary part of developing as a musician, but by no means do I force students into doing that.

Opleiding

Studying BA in Environmental Studies at the Open University.
B in A-level economics
5 A*'s, 5 A's and a C at GCSE.

Leservaring

Grade 8 ABRSM piano, grade 5 music theory. Taught from 12/06/2020 to the 31/07/2020 English to Chinese nursery students. I have taught piano lessons to two students before aged 17. Coached children aged 5-15 in cricket and 4-15 in tennis.

Pianist - Keyboard player

As a beginner or intermediate piano player you will learn to play in in a wide range of (classical) music genres varying from composers such as Ludovico Einaudi, Beethoven, Yann Tiersen and many more.

You will learn the right finger techniques for learning to wheel an Keyboard and a Piano accurately.

You will be prepared for your further musical development

You will receive appropriate tasks and piano assignments to practice

You will learn how to make your own piano compositions from scratch.

You can give content to your own lessons by deciding what kind off songs you would like to learn how to play.

Music producer - music production

As a beginner in music production you will learn how to produce electronic music independently using a home studio using accessible, low-cost technology, such as MIDI instruments and VSTs, to create musical ideas for yourself but also local and undiscovered talent.

You will learn mixed methods to write and record songs, make beats and mix them.

You will get an introduction to a variety of music software programs for music production such as Ableton Live, Garageband and Logic Pro X.

You will learn how to put down tracks overdubbed mixed, record songs and mix songs.

Developed production process improvements by implementing innovative sound techniques.
