I’m Wayne, a professional singer, songwriter and tutor from London that now resides in Paris. My classes have a dual role, they are aimed at those who want to learn how to sing and create their own unique songs to suit their voice. I will show you that singing is not necessarily about having a big voice, it’s about understanding your instrument and expressing it in the most effective “soulful”way. We will go through technique which is very important but also we will learn to let go and feel the music that is inside. Music is transformative and I aim to create a comfortable and safe space for letting go, as that’s when the magic happens. My singing lessons are based on a complete and in-depth approach to vocal technique, emphasizing the connection between the body and the voice. As a professional lyrical singer, I accompany you in the development of a healthy and controlled voice through exercises and knowledge on breathing, posture, support and opening the resonators, essential to release the power as well as the beauty, purity and personality of the voice.
My teaching goes beyond technique: From my many experiences on stage, I integrate the work of interpretation and scenic expression, inspired by theater and lyrical art. Together, we will explore how to transmit emotions through the voice and the body, cultivating stage presence and the art of telling a story through music.
I adapt to your needs and goals, whether it's singing for fun, preparing for a competition, or improving your confidence on stage.

Holder of a Master of Music from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, in composition and singing. I enriched my teaching skills by working as a research assistant at the Haute école de musique de Genève (HEM). As a music educator and researcher, I have led masterclasses at university level (Haute école de musique de Genève, Koninklijk Conservatorium Antwerpen) and lecture-recitals (Biennale Baroque Genève, Goldsmiths-University of London, Université de Genève-Musicologie), while continuing my own artistic production. As a composer, I have collaborated with ensembles such as Ensemble Contrechamps and Nieuw Ensemble, as well as with highly recognized institutions such as the Greek National Opera, Neuköllner Oper Berlin and the Athens Music Palace. As a singer, I have worked with the Greek National Opera, Operadagen Rotterdam, the Onassis House of Arts and Letters, and have performed contemporary works in world premieres and European tours. After 9 years of conservatory training in piano, operatic singing and variety, and 3 cycles of solfège, I offer private lessons to discover or develop your skills in piano (accompaniment, synthesizer and classical pieces), singing (opera, variety) and solfège.

For piano lessons: if you have a piano, I can come to your home. Otherwise, lessons are given at my home using a digital keyboard.
For singing and for music theory: no equipment required, at my place or yours!

The goal: to prepare your pieces, songs, learn the theoretical basics and have fun with it all!
