I am a multilingual primary teacher offering tuition in all primary subjects, language tuition as well as bespoke homeschooling/travelling tutor services. I have worked in the state sector as class teacher for 5 years before moving into the private sector in 2021. Since then, I have been working as a teacher/tutor/governess within private households to provide homeschooling and travel tutoring services to families and children. I teach all primary subjects as well as support with behaviour, learning how to learn, teaching children with additional support needs and language tuition. I am a native English, German and Russian speaker and speak fluent French, so can offer all four languages for tuition. If required, I am happy to provide bespoke homeschooling services and am well-versed in accommodating a school curriculum whilst travelling. Rates vary upon discussion of a tailored program. My teaching philosophy is to foster enquiring minds by making learning active and fun. I always strive to get to know my pupils as quickly as possible to ensure I can incorporate their interests my lessons, regardless of the subject. You will be surprised home many subject areas can be infiltrated by Minecraft, Bluey, Super Mario, Marvel and many more. I am happy to provide more information as well as references from my work as school teacher and travelling teacher/governess on request. Please note that tutoring rates vary depending on the type of tutoring required and the amount of lessons required. I am happy to be flexible on rates upon discussion.

I am a UK-trained violinist with a strong background in performance, orchestral playing, and teaching. What defines my teaching is precision, clarity, and care for healthy technique. I help students build a secure technical foundation while developing confidence, musical awareness, and expressive sound. I genuinely enjoy working with children and take pride in guiding them patiently and responsibly. With young students, I focus on posture, coordination, listening skills, and confidence, creating a positive and motivating learning environment from the very beginning. I also work with teenagers and adults, including returners who feel tense or stuck. My lessons are structured, calm, and highly focused, helping students understand how to practise effectively and progress with purpose. I combine high standards with a supportive and respectful approach, adapting my teaching to each student’s age, level, and goals. My violin lessons are carefully structured to develop strong technique, musical understanding, and long-term confidence. Each lesson is adapted to the student’s age, level, and physical comfort. I identify technical issues early and address them methodically, ensuring healthy posture and efficient movement. We work in depth on: • posture and body balance • •bow control and sound production • left-hand technique, intonation, and coordination • musical phrasing and stylistic awareness With children, lessons are patient, encouraging, and well-paced, building discipline and confidence step by step. With older students and adults, lessons are focused, analytical, and goal-oriented. My aim is not only improvement, but to give students reliable tools they can use independently in their practice.

Konnichiwa! I’m a fun, friendly Japanese teacher with over five years of experience teaching private and group lessons. I offer engaging online Japanese classes for beginners to advanced learners, focusing on real-life communication, confidence, and enjoying the learning process. Lessons are dynamic, personalised, and designed to keep you motivated and making progress. If you are looking for the class for conversation-only, JLPT prep, or absolute beginners, totally fine! Let's start your Japanese journey together! In my lessons, you can have tailor-made lessons that meet your needs, goals, and learning pace. Whether you want to master grammar, improve conversation skills, or prepare for exams like the JLPT or GCSE Japanese, I design lessons that are both effective and enjoyable. I normally use the “Genki” and “Marugoto” textbooks for beginners, and “Tobira” for intermediate, with a lot of talking and listening in the lessons, using my own teaching slides on TV/online. I believe that learning a language is more than just studying words — it’s about connecting with culture and communication. Through engaging activities - some traditional Japanese games, Origami, calligraphy, etc, cultural insights, and interactive lessons, I aim to help my students gain both fluency and confidence in using Japanese. Available for both online and in-person lessons, I’m passionate about supporting every learner on their unique Japanese language journey. Outside of teaching, I love skiing, tennis, and scuba diving, and I’m a big dog lover. These hobbies help me stay active, curious, and inspired in my everyday life. •Native Japanese language instruction (Beginner to Advanced) •Tailor-made lesson planning •JLPT & GCSE exam preparation •Grammar and conversational teaching •Online and in-person lessons

Understanding and patient Economics tutor I’m a graduate in Accounting and Finance from the University Of Warwick with wide experience tutoring maths, economics and sciences, particularly physics. I have done both the old style exams and the new ones, which puts me in a good position to help all students and apply the best resources to their revision for their specific exam. To me, defeating any tricky exam is a process of a few steps: Know the facts. This is the first and most obvious step in doing well. Factual recall is the basis of getting good marks. This can often be difficult, but breaking it down into smaller chunks, and being "smart" about revision can make a topic list much more approachable! Apply the understanding. This is particularly important in sciences and tricky maths! Practice makes perfect, but it has to be the right type! An understanding of where the marks are allocated can make this much easier. Play the game? Exams to me represent not just a factual recall or knowledge application test, but a strategic challenge where tactics, organisation and creative, targeted revision are rewarded. Strategically approaching exams with an eye to exam technique and ‘playing the mark scheme’ has always helped me get the best results. Coursework can be a great way to make life easier when it comes to exams, if you`ve got it. A good coursework grade can give so much extra breathing room for the actual papers. I have wide experience teaching GCSE maths, science and economics. At A level I can teach maths, economics and physics and beyond this, accounting, finance or economics. I have tutored students for 5 years through the national schools programme and through private/group lessons too. With over 1000 hours of lessons taught, I believe I can make a real difference to any student's learning. Thanks for visiting my profile and reach out if I can be of help!
