About me
My name is Tom and I obtained my master's degree in Finance & Investments from Erasmus University. I enjoy sharing my enthusiasm and knowledge about topics such as business economics, economics, finance and accounting with everyone I mentor! During and after my studies I worked at an investor, investment bank and scientific research institute, and I am currently setting up my own company. As a previous IGCSE & IB student graduate I understand the stress and difficulty in preparing for both the Mid-terms and End of year exams. The curriculum provided for both subjects will be based on deconstructing the theory into smaller sections which are then each focused on key vocabulary and factual information. I teach the basics of futures trading, and I bring 2 years of hands-on experience in these markets to help you learn effectively. Futures trading can seem complex at first, but I break it down into simple, practical steps so anyone can understand and start applying it.

This is a course of 5 (60 minute classes), I only teach in english.

Lesson 1: What Futures Are: I explain what a futures contract is, how it represents an agreement to buy or sell an asset at a predetermined price on a future date, and why traders use them.

Lesson 2:. Going Long and Short: You’ll understand the difference between taking a long position (expecting prices to rise) and a short position (expecting prices to fall), and how to apply these strategies in real market scenarios.
