Hi, I'm Martha. I teach English and German for speakers of other languages. I have taught in primary schools, after-school clubs and privately to children and adults. I obtained an MA at Goldsmiths University of London and am qualified in Creative ESOL at Trinity, Oxford University. I am also a comedian and actress. I use theatre, engaging activities, visual aids and roleplay to make the learning easier and more fluid. Speaking and listening activities that are fun and enjoyable increase both confidence and the desire to express yourself because there is an urgency to participate. In my lessons I make sure that the curriculum is covered and that the motivation to keep growing is not lost. I look forward to meeting you!

I am passionate about teaching English, because I myself have learned languages and enjoy being able to speak to people across the world! Besides English, I speak German, Romanian, French and Hebrew. I am certain I can succesfully teach you English, regardless of your level. In my teaching I use interactive activities, theatre and roleplay to increase confidence and to motivate. I prepare the lessons specifically for each student's specific needs, to pass exams and meet the required curriculum at school or at work. Having worked in business I also know how to teach business English for professionals and English for business communication. I am a qualified English teacher from England. I obtained my bachelor's degree in linguistics at Lancaster University (UK) and will soon have my master's degree. I have been teaching English for over 3 years to students who wish to improve their English language skills or become bilingual. All my students are satisfied with my course and those who had entrance exams have passed successfully. There is nothing like having English lessons with a qualified English speaker ;-) I have done all my studies in English and in the United Kingdom, I consider English as being my first language among all the other ones I have learned. Being a "native" speaker for me is meaningless, the qualifications are the most important as well as the experience (you could have a "native" speaker who makes a lot of mistakes because this person is not qualified in teaching).

The price of the lessons is moderate compared to the effectiveness of my courses. I use a variety of methods and can easily adapt to the needs of the student. I offer courses at all levels (beginner, advanced to university level) as well as English courses for IELTS/TOEFL, A-LEVELS or correction of written works.

I have worked with children as well as teenagers and adults. My 3 years of experience as a teacher in England have helped me to develop the qualities necessary to motivate my students and teach them effectively.

I can deliver the lessons online anywhere in the world.

I offer English classes for all levels and ages. Classes can be one-to-one and in groups. My methodology focuses mainly on practicing speaking and listening. However, the methodology depends on the student's strengths and weaknesses.

The methodology depends on the needs of the students. I've experienced working with teenagers and high school students. I can adapt my methodology to students who do not yet know how to read or write.

For the little ones I try to make my classes very practical and full of games, focusing mainly on listening.

For older students, it will depend on the student's goal.
