I have been a teacher for over 30 years, and I gained experience in teaching Polish as a foreign language at the People's University (Volksuniversiteit) in The Hague (Netherlands). Since 2015 I have been teaching Polish to adults from different backgrounds at this university. I am a teacher with language teaching preparation, which means that I am prepared to conduct Polish lessons as a foreign or second language Moreover, children from Polish-Dutch families were or currently are participants in my private and group lessons at a Saturday school in the Netherlands. Given my disciplined, reliable and professional attitude, I am happy to take up any challenge in teaching Polish as a foreign language. I use simple yet effective teaching methods such as a focus on direct contact with the language, natural acquisition of vocabulary and grammar or frequent repetition of language material. My name is Daniela, and I am a cross-over violist from Costa Rica. I moved to the Netherlands in 2020 to pursue my studies at Codarts Conservatory in Rotterdam, where I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Classical Music (Viola). I am currently continuing my journey at Codarts with a Master's degree in Latin Music. During my time in the Netherlands, I have been part of a wide range of musical projects across different genres — from classical orchestras and chamber music to pop, jazz, and world music collaborations. I am also the bandleader of my own Latin project, La Reunión, and work as a freelance musician with diverse musical groups.
