I studied the piano and other instruments for more than 15 years at the UGDA and at the Luxembourg City Conservatory of Music. After many years of music theory and piano I obtained the „Première Mention“ certificate from the Conservatory, with the qualification "Très Bien". A good music lesson should include not only technique and reading sheet music, but also theoretical and harmonic study, improvisation, recreational playing with the instrument, and ear training and rhythm exercises. As a student who grew up in the American Education system, having classes with Michael is as if I were back in the U.S. The way he explains and the easiness of understanding the material is one of a kind that I doubt I would get from a Spanish/European professional who would sure make it more complicated.
